9:30 awesome info!! very objetively expressed! absolutely these are all micro detalis overlooked in technical analysis, normally on new traders, once the "coolness" gets destroyed by the amount of losses you take and blown accounts, these factors start to feel very insightfull.
This was the best summary and composition of information for trading I've seen in quite a while. Manuals are great but use ideal situations. Loved every second of this. Thank you.

@@TheSecretMindset what about the hedging ? - my method, for example you buy gold at 1900 with take profit at 1930 but it goes lower at 1880, you place another buy with take profit at 1930 and a pending sell with the cumulative two buys, for example 1+1 lots = 2 lots at the pending sell order but always at close entry so that you are not hooked up, if it gets lower and you have a substantial profit from the sell, at least 50% of the other buys, you take the profit and place another buy, now you have to place another pending sell x3 lots lots to be sure, same as before with automatic close entry
🎯I love the grounded reality of this channel.. TA is all well and good. Market volatility should be both welcomed and embraced.. There is money to be made amidst the mayhem! The key to investing ultimately lies with one's ability to think long-term and stomach the near-term waves of volatility!

Great summary of technical analysis - allows one to see where one lies, reactive/predictive - price action/indicator and then to consider making changes to one’s approach - obviously only with back testing 👍🤩

Custom indicators can help to see a trend early (eg MACD 0 lag).
For me it is just a FIRST indication.
EMA, VWAP, Support/residence has to me right.
It is important to have their eyes early on the chart to be ready to jump in.
I really don't know how you do it....so much knowledge.

I assume almost every trader can relate to this. Great key points and the reality is that one has to be a combination of predictive and reactive. Like you said, context and confluence and not solely rely on indicators. I feel like trading only on price action itself would take years to master but definetlfy a skillset to have to improve your trades. Truth spoken as always TSM! 👻

We have different types of analysis, I'm not a professional trader, I'm just learning in a few months' but for me is the way to get profit is to trade a short position it's possible to make profit in a short position, & use some technical analysis base on how the market goes up&down👌

Well you can also use order based indicators like VWAP (volume weighted average price)
or VP (Volume profile) that don’t lag.. but can also only be used intraday.

Yup. I found the video useful and helpful, but I was thinking there are leading indicators while I was watching. Those are the ones I concentrate on paying attention to. And I'm focusing on learning which work best in different parts of the cycle. He touched on that concept.

Great summary of TA approaches. Had to watch the predictive vs reactive trading section 3 times. I obviously need to work that out for myself. Generally thinking about all things predictive...history shows us that they rarely come true. So, although my current bias might be one of predictive, and that is a generally losing approach, wouldn't it be better to change my bias toward reactive? Habits and behaviors can be changed with time and discipline...success helps also. Thoughts?

Excellent video! This is something that requires to have traded for some time to understand. Understanding that trading is an art and not a science takes time, effort and sometimes suffering. You cannot write a good novel or an inspiring piece of music by simply learning the technic. You must expose yourself to that particular art form, and practice, practice, practice...

yeah i agree because the big institution knows that most of the retail traders are focusing on indicators and old technical analysis, that's why they use some manipulation entry to deceived those retail traders

good apart from predictive trading is more aggressive than reactive; not as you described. Aggressive trading is trying to be in early and you can’t be earlier than predictive when being reactive.

This is a really good video, tbh. Normally all trading videos say the same exact thing, and there's a point of your trading knowledge that those videos are useless, and then this video came which teaches you that everything is subjective and there's no RIGHT and WRONG.
