Finally wisdom! I can attest to what techlead touched on, as a worldwide DJ I was flown all over the world, the fancy yachts, hotels, etc was nicer in thought and nicer in the speaking than in reality, whether on a first class flight or a yacht, we all rather get to our destination meanwhile, our pictures sipping champagne portrayed living the life but in reality I couldn’t care less and would rather go sightseeing.

Generally, I agree with this. However, two things: (1) Selling a "normal" life is like selling silence and a giant hole in the ground. It's a very tough sell. I think you should point out the incredible, unique, and life-changing experiences that can be had in a "quiet, normal" life. Wonderful, deep experiences can be had without spending a fortune. (2) You should consider lifting weights and adding some muscle. Not for anyone else, but because it improves your mood and confidence, because it (eventually) feels wonderful, because it greatly increases your physical resilience if you fall or otherwise have an accident. Don't get crazy about it and certainly don't take PEDs. But lifting is awesome.
Physical exercise also slows down aging of the brain, so yeah, even if someone wants to be purely just the "smart guy" they should definitely consider lifting..
It improves your confidence because you're a slave to other people's thoughts about you. It's bizarre that people would want to lift things up and down against gravity.

I get the whole “disengage from social media and politics” and don’t overthink everything… but then it’s hard to converse with coworkers and friends who are obsessed with that stuff. Saying “oh, I don’t care about that stuff because I don’t have control over it” is very isolating. It’s hard to find other people who ignore the social media outrage and politics outside of the internet.

Some of us are working and going to school full time for something that demands all of our time; at least, at the moment. I’ll boycott a store for selling items pertaining to an ideology I don’t agree with. But I don’t have time to follow every, single, little thing that’s going on politically and socially in the world that’s not relative to my daily life. I’ll get more involved with that once I’m more settled into my career.

My friends around me ask me all the time how to get more productive at this and how to be more efficient at that. They never ever rest.

I think he just means to the level of a lot of these influencers, a lean body is more ideal than those of the influencer bodybuilders. The truth is you need to consume a lot of protein to build that level of muscle. Consumption of red meat (more than the palm of your hand in a week) leads to heart problems which is the leading cause of death. And we know most protein supplements aren't very health either. Of course its healthier than being overweight, but I think the proof is in the pudding that the Blue Zone communities that live the longest in the world are based around low consumption, low meat diets which do not lead to muscle mass building.

Strangely Tate is one of the few who didn’t seem to be on roids. Even Dwayne Johnson is obviously on roids. More than anything he is lean, and the lack of bellyfat is connected to better health.
But you’re definitely right about the tbi potential of impact sports. We’re just now starting to see the toll taken by tbi on spec ops and other mil personnel who’ve been subjected to concussion from explosions, helo crashes, etc
Running isn’t always an option. Gun doesn’t beat all and I say that as someone who’s pretty heavily trained in that discipline. Combine that with grappling training like jiu jitsu at say blue belt level, and one will be pretty well rounded.
I’m pretty close to that 120 mark now and now I’m trying to figure out how to make more for a bit to structure some things differently.
Tate is pretty healthy IMO. He's going for the fighter bod. He could have been going for the gymnast bod, which is leaner, and what more women like statistically, but that's fine. Very few women like the steroid bulk muscle body tho. Statistically. Either way, you want to be FIT. Bcos even fewer women like a fatbody.

Why do people keep saying that Romania is a 3rd world country? That is so 30 years ago. Nowadays Romania is a EU/NATO member and is classified to be as a high income country, with pretty similar levels to Poland, Portugal, Hungary or Greece. Annual GDP per capita PPP is over 40 000 EUR, which is like 75% of what a French citizen is getting (56 000 EUR). Average monthly salary PPP is also over 2700 EUR gross (without purchasing parity is still over 1600 EUR per month, which considering the relative cheaper prices in RO make for a pretty confortable living (for reference the rent for 1 bedroom apartment is around 400 EUR jn Bucharest). Based on most economic indexes (GDP, GDP/capita, GDP/capita PPP, avg salary, avg salary PPP) Romania is still in the upper 25% of countries (situated anywhere jn between 30 and 50th spot in the world from 193 countries depending on various economical criteria)
So true about politics. I’m 24 and growing up politics was something barely heard of. It was for old people to pass time as they had nothing else to do. Nowadays even teenagers are so drastically involved in politics it’s just sad
