School days are approx 200 per year. A day like this with your son - FOREVER. Kudos, dad.
An expensive treat. Las Vegas or Disneyland would be cheaper.
Prioritizing picking up a shit mobile over the education of his kid. One village idiot ensuring the next generation stays the same.
I feel really bad for your son. Was this supposed to be a lesson on economics? Because a Cyber truck is about the worst possible investment one can currently make. First and foremost, electric vehicles depreciate far faster than gasoline powered vehicles…by several times over. In fact, they can loose up to half their value in the first year alone. They’re a seriously bad investment. That’s because they’re flawed. Their powertrain’s only good for slightly over 100,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first. They’re extremely expensive to repair. They’re inefficient when towing. They make driving on long trips take much longer. Working chargers are often harder to find. And they can be just as expensive to recharge by superchargers as gasoline powered vehicles are when refueling. Their powertrains have a lifespan equivalent to about a third of what a gasoline powered vehicle has. And lastly, they’re NOT pollution free. In fact, child labor has been employed by 3rd world countries that mine lithium.
@@mudman6156 All good points.
@@mudman6156 Expensive vehicles are depreciating assets, NOT investments. That’s the case with Mercedes, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Jaguar, BMW, Audi, Cadillac, etc. If you’re worried about depreciation, buy a lame Subaru. And no EVs don’t produce any exhaust. Their emissions depends on the power source and most are charged at night on off-peak baseload power that would otherwise be wasted in a dummy load. And you could just get Solar.
Repair cost is directly correlated to vehicle cost and brand and newness of the model - gas, diesel, or electric. Most EVs models are brand new though which means teething issues, but despite that, most are still very reliable with little to no maintenance. Towing IS inefficient because Physics, and it can tow great, just not for very far which is admittedly a Tesla fail. Should have released the 500-mile range option.
Long distance traveling is fine though and bathroom/stretch-your-legs breaks only take 10-15 min. longer than they usually would. Considering, most people aren’t driving >200 miles in one shot more than once or twice a year, the daily convenience of always waking up to a full charge more than makes up for an extra TH-cam video’s worth of time at a charger on a long trip.
You’re dead wrong about Lithium which is very common and mined in Australia, Chile, Bolivia, China, here in the USA, and many other places in smaller quantities. It’s even found in seawater. Maybe you’re thinking about cobalt from the DRC in Africa, but Tesla doesn’t get their battery cobalt from “artisanal” mines. Those have been supplying cobalt to the OIL INDUSTRY since the 1970s for refining and desulphurization. Child labor has been supporting diesel trucking and electronic devices the world over for fifty years. Don’t blame EVs for that.
How soon will we see the "I'm selling the Cybertruck' video?
In the next video, it will be at auction
@@robertromero8094 and it will not sell...OMG!
Can't sell it under Tesla terms for 12 months.
Just like hoovie
It appears he’s taking the Hoovie approach. Hoovie appears to be doing just fine.
What are you trying to beat Hoovie as the dumbest automotive channel on you tube?
I'm convinced that Craig is just trolling at this point. I mean, who ties his shoes for him?
Hoovie already figured out what a giant turd these things are and dumped his
Nope never buy the hype
Come back in 48hrs and see how many views this video will get. Multiply it by the countless videos he will make. He is not a car dealer anymore, he is a car youtuber. Your comment alone is helping the algorithm on this video and makes him more money :)
@honzarox nobody cares about the cybersuck anymore
Everytime I feel dumb, I'm going to remenber that someone spent $2,000 to get a Cybertruck delivered to not where they live. (8:05)
I'm happy to say my 93 GMC Sierra has ONE cool thing in common with the cybertruck...light strips down both sides of the bed! I did this before I saw it on the cybertruck and it actually works really great!! Now I never need to buy the cybertruck!!
Awesome video! Thanks for making this expensive mistake so that I can live vicariously though you.
That knee slide was top notch lol
Can't do that on Florida grass, lol!
The same day I see hoovie get rid of his I see you getting one. Good luck with the truck.
Everyone over the age of 35 felt pain when his son did that knee slide.
I'm watching this with my knee elevated on a heating pad
Great job! Very entertaining video Craig. Looks like your son had fun! At the 28:45 mark at 2am, you can see the screen says “Charging Stopped” at 29%. Can’t wait for part 2.
I noticed that also!😅
Great involving your son Craig. Well done.
Great father! Making wonderful memories... Parenting 101.
Exactly! I miss opportunities like these with my son. Grown up and out the house, this total geek out bonding Doesn’t happen very often any more. So cool to see this guy and his son having fun, learning together.
This is terrible parenting. You've clearly never actually raised a successful kid.
great stuff thanks, good luck with the new truck.
In 20 years no kid will remember what he learned on any particular day in school. You've just given your son a memory to last a life time! Good work dad.
Exactly!
Yeah how not to buy a dumb truck for stupid YT views
"Dad! Remember that day you took me out of school and got the CT? Totally worth the $30K in depreciation in one year!"
He could have waited to that kid got out of school and did the same thing what's the big deal taking him out of schools to go buy a truck cuz he's excited about it The father that is
@@Final_Boss_RacingStop being a Hater! Just go and get the Truck!
The real test will be how it performs this winter in NH...if you keep it that long
they wont take / keep a charge when its winter weather. just like a normal battery. I work at a store that has a tesla station and there were cars just sitting there because they couldnt move them LOL.
I live in NH...even if I liked these....I'd never buy one ..
@@rickmoore4776I'm not a Tesla fan at all.....but that makes no sense...I like in NH , and evs work in the winter ...not as well as a gas car or truck ...but batteries can take a charge in the cold, no they don't hold a charge well
You need to plug the charger back in so it unlocks. Also make sure the charger latches in if not it won't charge.
16:31 "Welcome to New York"? Don't you mean "Welcome to Jersey City, New Jersey"? . I know my hometown from anywhere, and trust me, we have New Yorkers beat when it comes to rudeness. That dude that cursed you out badly was a born and bred New Jerseyan, lol.
We're from Northern Ireland and visited New York for three days, that's a big Town. The Americans were amazing.
@@robblack7560 I'm happy to hear you had such a good experience in New York! And yes, New York City is humongous, there is always something to see and do, no matter what time of the day it is.
@@AngelicRequiemX so funny, we arrived Christmas Eve, first person we passed, a street beggar, his sign read "need $s for women, alcohol and cigarettes" - all the men were giving him money! We laughed.
@@robblack7560 I hope you had a good time. New york isn't a very good representation of American people though. They are well known for being our rudest
@@cooper8318 Although from Northern Ireland my main purpose was to pay respects to Ground Zero. NY was OK, thankfully I had visited San Fran, LA, La Jola, San Diego, Florida and Vegas over the years and found Americans very friendly. You have a great Country and people, bless you all.
Craig look back at your video footage. When you pan to the screen in the truck it said, "charging stopped"
Great memory for you and your son. Love it. 💪🏿
If I lived in Chicago I would definitely buy one 👍
That slide was epic🔥
OH Craig! The day you release this video Hoovie releases his "Im selling my Cyber Truck because of the Massive Depreciation and Problems". You really have bad luck/Judgement.🤣👍
Great video thank you.
The best charger I’ve seen for home is the Tesla universal wall mount charger it has the Tesla plug and a J 1772 plug built into the same charger connect that to a 60 amp dedicated breaker and you will have the best of both. Can’t wait for the next video to see how you get that adapter out of there. Have fun and enjoy the truck. We are looking forward to the videos.
Last time I saw your son you guys were at a Shoe Convention 👠 👟 👞 and he was so small. Now he’s a big guy 👍🏾
how is charging your vehicle from 17% to 34% as quick as filling up your gas car? It takes 5 min tops to fill a gas car to 100% capacity, while it too you roughly 11 mins just to put 17% charge.....
The guy in NY wasn't lying, that truck is ugly. I wouldn't be rude like he was, I guess New Yorkers are a different kind of people.
He was in NJ, not NY at that time. I don't know why he kept saying NY, perhaps Flying Wheels didn't know where he was at the time.
we sure are..
New York and New Jersey tell it like it is no sugar coating Tell you how foolish you can be at times especially living in those expensive cities and you living up in New Hampshire and have a car business and TH-cam now and can play around buying crazy stuff
Question: do you pay sales tax on the purchase price of the cybertruck minus the $20,000 Foundation series add on? Or is the sales tax calculated on the combined purchase price and $20,000 Foundation series option package?
I really loved the video.
🤣😂absolutely an entertaining video…..keep ‘em coming! 🤣🤣
The tesla experience is second to none. Even after sale with warranty repair work always nice.always a loaner available. And they come to your house and fix ahit also.
I did the New York City quote just before you did. A friend of mines father was in that commercial, Virgil Frye.
Thats funny... Hoovies Garage just put a video out at the same time - getting rid of the thing as fast as he could! That is what you call bad timing
Next video idea: why we are selling the Cyber Truck
I’m Jealous Craig! Loved my 3 and can’t wait to afford a used CT or a more affordable CT trim package ❤…… until then I’m still enjoying my 04 Cayenne Turbo ! U Da Man!
That light show will be great when your sitting on the side of the road broke down
Tesla is opening a dealer by the Manchester airport. The reason why you can’t buy a Tesla in NH is because the closest dealer is in MA and MA will charge you sales tax regardless of whether you are an out of state resident (and obviously we don’t like to pay Mass sales tax). I think CT was the same way, and the NY dealers were too overloaded so NJ was the only way to get one.
I like your videos, keep it going.
You should it wrapped. .. I've still haven't seen one on the road yet so I'm sure all these people taking pictures probably haven't seen one either.
That was a great kneed slide ⭐️
I got the same thing, Touchless experience, and a Tesla advisor will guide me to my vehicle. I wondered which it would be.
I definitely interacted with people at the Tesla Center to pickup the CyberBeast.
😂😂 in six months the video will be my 2 k miles cyber truck lost 40k value in 6 months
Enjoyed watching dad content !
Bad idea, the values are dropping like a rock. Sell that toaster ASAP.
cool dad! happy fathers day!
Truck will be worth 60k by end of year… smooth move dad.
A 30k dollar day with your son.
Prices are going down.....Evs aren't holding their value...people are starting to see that they're not good. They're not green, they indirectly pollute, they don't save you anything , they're poorly made, these are already rusting, Tesla itself sucks, their service sucks....junk....and as you see....the process is all on the app...because musk tries to save labor costs as he's ripping you off...you HAVE to take it to Tesla when it breaks down...they're just a joke ...and it's disgusting that people buy them, and think musk is the greatest person .....he's not. Tesla is not ...
Lol nope........
Cool times!
Love the fact that the ball went with for the trip😂 awesome
Hey Craig u most be really doing well now, moving to Fl. buying a Cyber Truck & bidding on Lambo...Go "Big Money" Craig!
SO let me get this right, You spend all of that money with them and they respond to your request of charging it to 100% to drive home with "We will try". On that alone I would take my money elsewhere.
Craig , watch hoovies latest video on his cybertruck , he seems to have his finger on the pulse for car values. After watching you might think like he does that it will be very costly to keep it due too depreciation.
I just saw you on the highway in Manchester. I was driving that blue Ford focus with the rocker panels in need of help and the broken windshield. It was so cool to see your cyber truck.
Good luck my friend. Hope you have better luck.
Tyler Hoover just sold his after one month not impressed with it and the prices are about to crash.
I just got a crush on a jaguar xkr with the facelift, looks so stylish
I had that experience when I was 6 years old in East Orange, N.J. I used to sit in my father's 1938 Cord on 19th Ave. and demonstrate the features to people that stopped to admire the car. (in 1949).
Yesterday watched Hoovie's latest video "I'm selling my stupid Cybertruck as prices are crashing." Today your video ...
Crying wheels is holding a hot potato he better get out before he gets burned
That was fun but I'd have done a little research ahead of time. I guess there's a big learning curve, taking you're son was a good idea.
Craig That commercial you did was for Pace Picante sauce from 1988-1997.
Congrats!!!
very cool video
If not NH, why not have it delivered in Mass to Natick, Peabody or Dedham?
I thought you were joking about not knowing tesla operations. I own a Model S Plaid, love love love it. Suggestion, your screen is the answer to all your questions. Use it!
Loved the One Direction poster comment😂. Even better that your son was down with the joke.
I like how you roll - taking chances on cars.. taking chances on airlines.
Your home charger isn't a CCS charger, it's a j1772, which is AC level 1 or level 2, maxes out at 220vac and 80amps roughly 20kW max. The charger is onboard the car and you just feed it with normal home AC power. The CyberTrucks only does 48amps but a few like the Lightning can do 80. It's dependent on the least capable of your EVSE (EV Supply Equipment) amps, and the vehicle, whichever is lower.
A CCS1 (Combined Charge Standard) is a DCFC (DC voltage Fast Charger) which can do 50-350+ kW. A superchargers is also a DCFC, the charger is on the curb and it feeds directly to your battery and matches voltage.
Hope that helps, but I have to wonder if you care. As if you didn't care to understand if your gas car ran on gasoline or diesel or propane, it's all just "gas" after all. Shrugs.
And this guy is in the car business. Cyber Truck values are falling like his car business. In the shitter. Great move Craig!
Here in the UK we can tax deduct depreciation on vehicles if registered through the business. I don't know the USA system, is it similar?
Imploding faster than a sub full of billionaires.
You have no idea what you're talking about.
I’m also from NY. The title of your video is spot on. You don’t realize no matter how successful you are, many smart people are also, you are looked upon as a jerk. I hope you tell your son it’s a video yo mske money don’t believe it or live it❤️👍
Craig thought you were pretty savvy, hopefully you don't get burnt on CT. You did talk with Hertz before your purchase?
great show
GREAT CHANNEL SUBSCRIBED.
The only thing you will enjoy about this is the experience with your son. Otherwise spending such amount on a refrigerator on wheels is ridiculous. I have a feeling this will go the way of Hummer H2---everyone wanted it until they realized that it was an overpriced load of crap.
CRAIG YOU MADE THE RIGHT MOVE IVE NEVER SEEN YOU THIS HAPPY IN A LONG TIME
craig:i hate electric cars you lose value
also craig:heres my cyber truck thats tanking in value,,,never change craig its great content lol
You should have got back in the Uber and flown home. Did he not notice how many cars had regular plates on them. Meaning the lot was packed with Teslas that were there to be repaired.😊
I won't case any shade on your latest purchase...looking forward to all of the pain and complaints...it's just starting!
You named your son after an airport?
No. The named the airport after his son. Even before he was born...
@ 18:16, C'mon Craig! Tell your son not to pick his nose and eat it on camera. Busted! How gross. Yeah, the car looks stupid, too.
He didn't eat nothing goofy

Say hello to massive depreciation. Have you not been paying attention to everyone who has bought one of these rust buckets? I feel sorry for you.
They are still selling for over MSRP on the used market. Google is hard.
They are stainless steel they don’t rust
@@jjpop24can’t reason with people that hate it
If he looses money he still made content and and it’s a tax write off so end of the day he’s not a loss
I'm very conflicted when it comes to EV's. I'm going to be doing a video on the pros and cons regarding EV's vs Hybrids for the south African market (where I'm from) especially regarding the drastic battery drain on hiways or freeways where you not using regeniterive braking. Where as with a plug in Hybrid you can get the best of both worlds as you use the electric motor for town and the ICE motor for longer journeys on hi-ways or freeways, plus no range anxiety due to lack of chargers here in South Africa. P.s I love your channel and watch it regularly and of course I'm a subscriber. My channel hasn't fully launched yet but the first video will be soon. Wishing you the best from South Africa 🇿🇦
How much money do you think you will lose in 6 months 12 months 18 months etc. due to depreciation?
Tens of thousands like any car at that price point. I know someone that lost 50% on a high end BMW in 18 months. Depreciation is horrible for your finances.
At least 50k if not more
Everybody's already had these drove them and sold them THIS seams like old News !
Love the Cyber Truck, congratulations! Haters gonna hate!
Thanks For A Good Laugh, I Needed That.
I can't wait to see the angry depreciation videos on this Cybertruck in the near future! The hype and markup market are settling on these VERY hard. 🤣🤣🤣
Question: so if you need service you have to tow it to NJ?
We can all be thanking Tyler and Craig for the rapid depreciation and new affordability in owning a Cyber Truck.
We use Johnson's baby oil to keep stainless steel clean.
There is a Cybertruck for sale in Mexico for 6.3 million pesos. Do the conversion at 18.50 right now and see how much they want. Crazy
Over $300k USD...crazy
@@robertl2227 Yes absolutely crazy.
Happy Fathers Day Craig
Congratulations 🎊 😂😂😂 wait till you tow and see how much battery it uses 😉
I have a 2020 Model 3 Performance and I just got tires at Walmart. All 4 were $390. They seem to work just as well as the expensive ones that were on it before. They have 18,000 miles on them so far and I'm no where near needing new ones. I'd have to use gauge but I'm guessing that I'm no worse than halfway through them.
Craig what is the model number for those sunglasses? Should be on the inside of one of the arms. I see they’re Ray Bans and maybe Wayfarers but I love the color.
I guess flipping 150,000 mile rust buckets from nowheresville, USA is profitable, who knew?
Ummm, used car sales has been a profitable professiom for many decades.
I just sold my CT and you just bought yours 👍🏻
There's an emergency release cable for the electrical connection located inside the truck bed, near the rear of the bed, I think around or above the outlets. Just remove the cover plate, then find a pull cord, perhaps yellow, and you can release the connection. Best to check on TH-cam for the details about this. Just so you know, in an emergency, like loss of power or some other malfunction, to open the doors, at the bottom of the storage tray in each door, there's a small removable plastic panel, and under it is a pull cord, could be red, not sure, to release the door latches manually pull the cord.
My question is, how long are you planning on keeping the CT, and how soon will you try to flip it. ?
Do you clean it with a regular stainless cleaner or is there a different special cleaner?
21:21 put him on blast😂😂
70 miles per charge towing . Better be a lot of charging stations on the way back
