Even tho I’ve felt like Sane was super overrated and inefficient since he got to Bayern, I think Virtz off the bench was much more impactful. The one positive about Sane starting is Germany could play 90-95% the same with Sane, but then bringing in Virtz in the 55-60’ range would be huge in the later stages. I’ll just theorize that.

VAR did a perfect job by finding an offside goal for Denmark and a penalty for Germany when they needed it the most.
I love how we can manipulate games so we can make sure to get the big clash with Germany vs. Spain.

@@MrBasjunk Yes, of course. And do you think Germany's first goal was rightly disallowed? Was that a foul by Kimmich? Certainly not. I understand that this situation with VAR isn't great, but back then a blind referee was enough to make some world champions and nobody complained about it. Or wrongly, everyone always complains. Usually the losers. So, I'd rather have a VAR that is more likely to make a fairer decision than a team of referees that makes several wrong decisions. And if you really condemn the VAR like that, then realize that without the VAR Germany would have been leading in the 3rd minute.
