Jo Fu Originally I wanted to do Manga but where to publish or upload it is a bit of a problem. It may look weird to do a Manga format in a webtoon app. Plus I work traditional only. -broke
I dont know much about perspective and how it works, but i do try to divide them based on the numbers on the ruler, creating various lines to see the separation on how things would look like..... Then again, this is a good way to see how manga artist really draw..... Thanks for this vid... New subscriber here.
Mikey just recently followed back on twitter (much appreciated) if it was for my new job, I would have sign up to go to anime NYC. I hope NY finally gets an anime con. I would fly out to it but hope they spread it out just a bit since NYCC just happened last month. For me, I cheat with BGs by printing out grids and using a light table or just use the computer.
wow, what I learned is you HAVE tbe patient, things are in the backgroind but you still have to make them perfect, like look at the door knobs! I never though of using scales to make those!
@@desertchannel7 like putting all the characters in one frame, or showing too much details. Like shingeki no kyojin, the focal point is the titan, not eren, mikasa or levi. The cover is the colossal titan who started the tragedy on eren’s life. A manga cover can be a symbol how the story started.
I am professional when it comes to drawing a building. Actually when I see him using the technique like that I am also surprise but it's okay you can use whatever techniques you wanna use But I suggest you use the technique in his left hand (paper). Sorry for my english
What really would interest me: How long did he take now to complete the background? Since it was fastforwarded I couldnt make out how long he really needed to finish it.
Can anyone tell me what that weird pencil thing thats being used at first is called? It looks like a hybrid between a normal pencil and a mechanical pencil, but I cant find the name anywhere D:
Kinda sad how Mikey advertises for people to join him at the convention and no one will join him there lol This channel is too small so he'll probably meet no one from here
This channel is a must for those who want to make their own dream Manga or comic.
most just do webtoon lol

Takehikos Inoue's assistants on Vagabond rocks. I'd like to know more about them.
Could you teach us how to do manga covers?
A manga cover should explain what the story is all about with only few elements in it. Adding too much can be overwhelming.
@@kiavra1789 thank you for the advice!
@@missaircraftmechanic3306 yes, but how much is too much?

I now realize the significance of understanding perspective; imagine if this was being adapted for an anime.
That's not the significance of perspective. If that's what you think, then you should probably rethink the entire point of art and comics lol.
Nah lets activate deity mode and make it free hand .
Hey Nihoun can you teach us foreshortening in anime? It is hard ma boi. Help us boi.
Which pencil was used in it?
Can anyone tell me what that weird pencil thing thats being used at first is called?
It looks like a hybrid between a normal pencil and a mechanical pencil, but I cant find the name anywhere D:
Google "pencil used by manga artist", choose "Images" instead of "All", and you will see it.
Wooooow *.*
Anybody know the name of the pencil he’s using ?

so hard
bro this is not really how they do it. they edit real photographs with filters to make backgrounds. how else would they make thousands of pages
I kind of feel like the majority of this information you can pick up if you just pick up a book... isn't this just basic perspective?

Really pro? Cant follow the perspective. Watch it again so u can see the mistake u done.
Wow
