Land Rovers have something called terrain control. Manages braking and torque delivery so it will just crawl down gently even with no driver input. Like it locks the speed.

Moon Mountain and Heaven’s Gate. I walked up those steps 10 years ago and was absolutely knackered by the time I reached the top. But the view, with the surrounding mountains shrouded in mist, was well worth it.

They used safety cables with ascenders on the bottom of the car. No chance of it rolling back down. You can see the cables at the top.

You don't need "stones" to do this. All it takes is moderate driving skill. Worst case scenario is you can't do it, so the car stops, and you either wait inside as it's slowly lowered using the cables it's secured with, or you just get out of the car and walk down. It's a flight of stairs, not a death trap.

Indian normal road is offroad you got holes you got unpredictable breakers and are so high that an suv can touch the breakers. You will get different kind of animals on roads some fast some slow . you will get untrained kids and people driving without helmets and licence can turn anywhere without signal. People are so miser that they can't turn the car from 1 km they will just cross the divider and the quality of roads is perfect for offroading. There is so much to learn from indian roads.
