One quick question: Is the Nested Dielectrics part still necessary these days? Or could you leave the bubbles exactly as they are (not reverse them) and give their metarial a slightly different IOR? It seems to work really well that way.
Nevermind, I tried the solution with reversing the bubbles and setting up the Nested Dielectrics nodes for MTLX for water and air in KARMA. Looks WAY better.
how would you build the interaction between the rbd and the fluid in the geo layer? i created first the rbd and used it as an static object, but then i can not use the feedback function
I did use the rigidbody solver in obj->geo->dopnet but its coliding against the water, but not sinking, after the splash its falling again in the freespace and coliding again and again and again
@@JohnKunz Thank you very much!! I didn't expect you'd answe this soon. I was guessing it would be but didn't apply it. I'm just learning fluids and wanted to make some bubbles. Thanks for writting back
This is my favourite video of 2023. Was looking for ways to let points / bubbles travel through a sim together with other stuff. Thank you!

Thanks! Great to hear your finding them helpful and learning :)
This is incredible but omg I felt my brain melting. Why is houdini so complicated? 😭

In Houdini 19 the AtribbNoise does not have the option "Center Noise"
They re-organized the parameters in 19
Under "range values" section you should see a "range values" dropdown which can be set to "zero centered"
