Brooklyn actually started in the American Association when the AA was a major league and played in that league from 1884 to 1889 then jumped to the NL.

Part of the reason Stoneham was looking at moving the Giants to Minneapolis was that he held the rights for the area, as the Minneapolis Millers were a Giants farm team.

I know you hate the dodgers with our fan base, but I’m back because the dodgers will meet the spiritual successors for the first time in years with the Mets in the pennant series

"Brooklyn mostly bleeds Orange & Blue".
And The New York Mets have a minor team in Brooklyn called The Cyclones.

Some of those old names are funny. It's safe to say we'll never see another team named Bridesgrooms or Superbas ever again in our lifetime.

You forgot to mention that the Giants were in the World Series in 1962, only to get beaten by their American League rival, the Yankees.

Great upload as usual, May I request a video about the NBA Kings (ne Royals) relocations from Rochester to Cincinnati to Kansas City/Omaha and finally Sacramento?

The Seattle mariners are isolated today, with the Athletics and Giants being the closest teams to the mariners and are still far. The Athletics will be even further from the Mariners when they move to Las Vegas. Maybe Portland could get an expansion team to fill the travel gap between the Giants and Mariners, it helps the Mariners are guaranteed to play the NL West and the rest of the NL teams every year.

Maybe a team will come to Portland or Vancouver and fix that

A third team in NYC area would automatically trigger Chicago wanting one and LA swallowing San Diego to get a third team 😂
Ok seriously, could they handle another team? Maybe. But lets look at the SoCal baseball atmosphere with Dodgers, Angels, Padres and the incoming A's. If they find a way to coexist and not strangle each other, yeah I could see NY or Chicago making it work.

In this case, the Colts would be a true New York team. The Giants and Jets both left for New Jersey

I don't see taxpayers wanting to pay for yet another stadium. The White Sox are getting a lot of pushback for their's.

Ohtani is only great if he has a great supporting cast around him. Trout was a great contributor, but he was on the down slide, due to age. Dodgers can be competitive IF their other players can stay healthy, which they have not been known to do. I believe in my Giants and know we will be constantly in turmoil/despair, but the team tends to find a way. As a fan, I appreciate that.
