Every strategies works in backtesting but in real it sucks

so how can you tell if its a false breakout? easy to say after it already happened
It's simple, it brakes out but then drops below the brake out.
Make a support zone instead of a line in higher timeframe and by zone i mean making a rectangle from the high wick to the body of the candle
That's why we need to calm down and wait for it to test the resistance.
No you can tell false breakout in real market
Just remove the indicators 💀 & that kind of shit
Track the RSI to show the market momentum. If there's no divergence between the two charts, then the breakout is likely false.

You have a solid support level with multiple short rejections at 90593 with a fake breakout to the long side. I would have entered at 90650 with a 20 pip SL. First take profit at 90812, then at 90942 then let it ride. Yeah hindsight is a great tool ;)
Tracking the RSI can help you spot a fake breakout.
Should be the pull back pivot to the left your looking to flip. Not the fakeout candle.

This was very weird because litteraly the previous short showed a very similar market with double dips but with a succesful breakout.
So its just educated guess
But yes that price action offers really good risk reward, i love trading chock
0:10 long wick candle must follow a engulfing candle for an entry after the breakout.

What is the higher timeframe you selected?
4hr and lower typically if you’re day trading. If you’re swinging then you want to focus on the weekly and daily timeframes for general trend bias.

The liquidity trapping inducement pattern that is present endlessly in kaleidoscopic form all through the market. There's a bull and bear version of this pattern, and it's designed to fool traders imo.
Problem is it's easy to do what you're doing on a recording but doing this live is damn near impossible

This guy just showed you the Wyckoff pattern. It is from the 1930's. Look it up.
4h drop to 5m for confirmation is just unnecessary. Too messy. That false breakout is just a wick rejection on the 1h/30m. Much simpler much cleaner confirmation to look at while still giving you the same info.

There is no such thing as fake breakout 😂 because market moves in random.
That is not a fakeout. That is a breakout and if that wave correction doesnt create a new low. There you have a trend change. Normally a 0.78 fibo from that impulsive wave that creates a choch.
