Trading throughout the day (at least from a crypto perspective for example) means not letting data too far in the past dictate your moves.

Candlestick at support or resistance does not mean you are trading with the trend though... This is a reversal, not trend continuation and the "trend" has not yet been confirmed yet

Or use the 38.2% rule. RSI, MA and looking at the trend plus chart patterns. You can’t just enter a position based on a single indicator or pattern. That’s dumb. If I were to flip a coin you’ll never know. Use the 80/20 rule and you only need a batch of positive trades of 4 together only 1/625. Aka you’ll never go broke. Just stay disciplined to your strategie (very hard)

if you understand how candle sticks formed you will know how to read the charts, that long wick above means the price went up because sell is in control over tha buy, samething if the long wick is below. You dont look for the candle patterns, look how they are formed also look for orderbook trade with the trend

I build algorithms and just based on my time in the market, the market is built to fake you out. “Textbook” setups occur maybe 5% of the time. I think the creator of the video trades a lot of forex and different markets behave extremely different as well. So if you haven’t tested this on dozens stocks, multiple futures instruments, forex etc and done that on multiple timeframes, you’re not going to fully know which markets it works on or how long the general setup works. There’s a lot of other factors that contribute to finding where this setup would work and as a new trader, you generally just don’t know what you don’t know. So my suggestion is to take the knowledge as a good suggestion in the right direction but then realize you need to add additional layers of confluence which you can find through testing and studying the markets more.

@@cassiussaldana5920 what you’re doing is how I learned. There’s no replacement for just soaking up information. I started at 15 and I’m 31 now. One regret I have is that I didn’t hire people who were further along in the journey earlier. I hired a coder a couple years ago who traded in the pits at the CME. He taught me a lot about coding and framework of strategies. I’m currently hiring a team to work on machine learning and they have degrees in applied math and quantitative finance. Finding people who are smarter but still kind and willing to share their knowledge with you is key. You have to be willing to pay for that because unfortunately most of the stuff on TH-cam is for financial entertainment and there’s not a lot of meat to the content. My edge has come from math and algorithms but that’s not the only way to do it. It might take going through a few mentors out there but you’re going to grow much faster finding someone who trades a way you would like to one day and learning from them. You might pickup a few things from the person and move on to another teacher but eventually you’ll find that system that works for you. It’s an ongoing journey though and take it from me, you’re never as good as you want to be but that’s also part of the excitement and joy I get from trading.

50:50 because some long wicks are filled up and more before the trend reverses. Quite a few times, a consolidation happens first.
50 : 50 is good odds. Keep losses small and wins bigger. Those 50% wins should put you in the green

I have been using an FA since 2020, and the least I returned was $140k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

Or use the 38.2% rule. RSI, MA and looking at the trend plus chart patterns. You can’t just enter a position based on a single indicator or pattern. That’s dumb. If I were to flip a coin you’ll never know. Use the 80/20 rule and you only need a batch of positive trades of 4 together only 1/625. Aka you’ll never go broke. Just stay disciplined to your strategie (very hard)

if you understand how candle sticks formed you will know how to read the charts, that long wick above means the price went up because sell is in control over tha buy, samething if the long wick is below. You dont look for the candle patterns, look how they are formed also look for orderbook trade with the trend

I build algorithms and just based on my time in the market, the market is built to fake you out. “Textbook” setups occur maybe 5% of the time. I think the creator of the video trades a lot of forex and different markets behave extremely different as well. So if you haven’t tested this on dozens stocks, multiple futures instruments, forex etc and done that on multiple timeframes, you’re not going to fully know which markets it works on or how long the general setup works.
There’s a lot of other factors that contribute to finding where this setup would work and as a new trader, you generally just don’t know what you don’t know. So my suggestion is to take the knowledge as a good suggestion in the right direction but then realize you need to add additional layers of confluence which you can find through testing and studying the markets more.

@@cassiussaldana5920 what you’re doing is how I learned. There’s no replacement for just soaking up information. I started at 15 and I’m 31 now. One regret I have is that I didn’t hire people who were further along in the journey earlier.
I hired a coder a couple years ago who traded in the pits at the CME. He taught me a lot about coding and framework of strategies. I’m currently hiring a team to work on machine learning and they have degrees in applied math and quantitative finance.
Finding people who are smarter but still kind and willing to share their knowledge with you is key. You have to be willing to pay for that because unfortunately most of the stuff on TH-cam is for financial entertainment and there’s not a lot of meat to the content.
My edge has come from math and algorithms but that’s not the only way to do it. It might take going through a few mentors out there but you’re going to grow much faster finding someone who trades a way you would like to one day and learning from them. You might pickup a few things from the person and move on to another teacher but eventually you’ll find that system that works for you. It’s an ongoing journey though and take it from me, you’re never as good as you want to be but that’s also part of the excitement and joy I get from trading.
