HEROD has become a real eau de toilette that smells (almost) of nothing anymore. PARFUMS DE MARLY is no longer a great perfume house for me. The house has been reformulating its perfumes far too much for some time now, because of the influencers who attract a new, uninformed customer. I can no longer trust this house that does not respect its new customer, less demanding and novice in the world of niche perfume.
I do not blame the influencers but it is clear that since the fashion of influencers on the internet, the quality of many perfumes is decreasing. I hope to be able to move soon towards more qualitative perfume houses like Roja Dove. Indeed, I have never heard of reformulation of Roja Dove perfumes. This is perhaps the price to pay to treat yourself to quality perfumes that are never reformulated.

This is the difference between an average niche perfume house and haute perfumery. HEROD has become a real eau de toilette that hardly smells anything.
As long as you're spending a lot of money on perfume, you might as well go for haute perfumery by treating yourself to a perfume from ROJA for example, which does not reformulate its perfumes.
I'm starting to have enough of these perfume houses that don't respect their customers.
Certainly, with the rise of influencers, customers have become much less demanding; and perfume houses take advantage of this opportunity to distort their creation a little more: either by reducing the concentration of perfume or by removing a few ingredients. Like the well-known CREED AVENTUS which no longer smells anything and yet... we still see influencers who continue to use superlatives to describe the perfume, encouraging victims in front of their PC to obtain the perfume.
After this, how do you expect perfume houses to evolve in the right direction?
I entered the world of niche perfume a few years ago, but I am now moving towards the world of haute perfumery.
I would treat myself to half as many perfumes, but that will be the price to pay to finally own perfumes that will last forever, their concentration and their quality level.
    Sincerely !

I couldn’t have said it better myself and I agree with everything you have said.
I love Roja, and I haven’t experienced any reformulations or changes with his fragrances yet.
Have you tried anything from Argos? I have a few but Triumph is my favourite. I am a fan of Nasomatto and Orto Parisi as well.
Influencers have certainly changed the niche fragrance world and you can tell which brands are paying a lot to influencers to continually talk about certain fragrances.
Now we are seeing this with clone houses. Almost every other video from big fragrance channels is about clones 😴
