  • In last week's video we asked people to guess how long it would take us to fill up Bob's trailer with firewood while running the 395. Previous videos with the 365 took 20-30 minutes to finish up. This time we made significantly better time!

    How often do you need to sharpen the chains?

    What type of wood is that in the video

    • @MetsaMachines
      @MetsaMachines  ปีที่แล้ว

      Predominantly ash, we get a lot of it in Wisconsin.

    Do you make the 395 in a towable version with its own motor?

    • @MetsaMachines
      @MetsaMachines  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We do not currently have a road towable version of the 395. We do have the option to add either a Honda or Kubota Diesel engine to it and we are looking at potential options to make the 395 and 405 towable, hopefully by Fall 2023.

    Have to ask: Cold, hard wood. Are you running regular chain or carbide?

    • @MetsaMachines
      @MetsaMachines  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We are using a regular chain.

    I am searching for a wood processor to purchase but all the videos only show the processors performing flawlessly never having problems splitting or cutting the wood. It deceiving. I want to see real-time no editing out problems

    • @MetsaMachines
      @MetsaMachines  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a real-time video of our processor running. We have a few videos we’ve uploaded like this where we don’t edit anything out.

    Your elevator belt is too steep of angle. Is why it's slipping. I like to have that whole set up. Nice machine. Have a great day be safe

    • @MetsaMachines
      @MetsaMachines  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's actually slipping because we still need to tension the conveyors. This was a new machine and this was the first time we ran it for any amount of time. Once we tension them there won't be any issues.

    That machine can eat big wood for such a small footprint. Ohio Joe sent me to this channel. Let me get this straight, you get paid to demo machines while making your own wood?? How cool is your job. I saw that you were at the Paul Bunyan show. I saw there was a Haix display. The Japa company should have a nice pair of this for you so you can not cut wood in snow with running shoes. This would make you more credible to future customers!! See what I did there?
