Thank you. That was the most informative video ever for a grey nomad retiree such as myself who is always looking for new, fun things to learn. Have contemplated a metal detector in the past but I'm more the type to try basics first. Learning something new is the ultimate fountain of youth and you teach so much without a single word wasted. Besides, here in Australia gold is now about $100/gram. Worth the time and effort.

What exactly is that set up you're using there? What is that black mat, before the short sluce? Can I purchase one, or is that homemade?
Is there a quicker, more efficient way to do this? It just seems like a lot of manual picking through the catcher/mat. Awesome video nonetheless
where did you get your classifier??? Ive been using a round fry basket i got from a restaurant supply store.
