what line length did you use? and recommendations on the length of the lines?
I used 24m
Ich hab den 15er Juice Dlab auf 8m auch schon durchgezogen. Muss man halt echt voll comitten!
Try on a XR6/7
easy i loop with a 14 meter.. but its my only kite thats why 😂. its like an angry bull kite

Thank you, Ben, for this helpful video. Good to see, that even for an experienced kiteboarder, kite-loops aren't necessarily a given thing on big kites. Also, I find it very interesting, to hear you mention that only a couple of years ago this kund of loop seemed very unlikely to even think of with a kite of that size. I wasn't aware, that kite agility has evolved so much in only a few years of time. Always appreciate your quality and joyful videos, thank you!

Hi Ben, sehr cool! Geht das auch mit dem XR 13.5? Wollte diesen Sommer mal mit dem Loopen anfangen. Zuerst natürlich mit dem 10er und 12er. Viele Grüsse und bis bald mal wieder in Silva (grüner Helm, schwarzer Core)
Ich denke mit dem XR8 wird das sehr schwierig, der neue Nexus looped schon ganz anders und schneller.
13.5 xr8 geht easy wenn man hoch genug ist
this is awesome to see for those of us stuck riding 12m + kites. It's so easy to see guys on youtube pull stuff on 7m kites, but this is incredibly helpful if you don't live somewhere that can take such a small kite! Would love to see more.

Fastest kite setup Wave? Not freestyle?
Frage mich in dem Kontext, ob ich zum üben von kiteloops meine Nexus 3 (10er und 8er) auf Wave stellen sollte.
Wave is faster, freestyle is slower as in wave you want a faster kite and while unhooked you want a kite that doesnt move.

Ben is doing kiteloops in freestyle setting as far as I know.
@@randomhuman8684 kite in wave settings will be faster while in freestyle will be gruntier…. It’s personal preference.
@@giorgio4660 i tested both and my feel that wave setting was slower than freestyle. And kite wing in freestyle faster shape.

Is there a trick to riding the Nexus coming from XRs? I always feel like I'm underpowered when I'm riding the same size. I love how much faster it is... but I'm a heavy guy and I feel like I'm constantly pumping the nexus to keep going.
That‘s true, the Nexus has less „power“ on it‘s own. With the Nexus the power comes from the „right“ steering

i came from xr 7 in 7 9 12 and went to nexus 8 10 13,5 worked well at 95 kg
