Wow - thank you for such a fun video and cool format! I've been a fan since first hearing "Gypsy" on WMMS 100.7 in 1970 and seeing them at the Akron Civic Theater in June, 1972 - so I've been there all the way! For the most part - I agree with you - however we have one major disconnect on "High and Mighty". Side 2 wanders, but the first four songs (Side 1) are some of Ken's absolute best! Also, if you get the 2004 reissue (18 tracks) - several of the bonus tracks are outstanding. I would put it on the "Excellent" row. Other than that, I would only quibble over one row either way for two or three others. Thank You!
I have been a URIAH HEEP fan since 1974. The first album which introduced me to this Legendary group by a friend was in fact 'Wonderworld' then 'Sweet Freedom'
Great way of showing these Uriah Heep Albums. Only Found 2 of these and the Double Uriah Heep Live that were in a playable condition ! Usally beaten Album Cover with Poor Condition - Vinyl ????!!!
It’s a lovely article on Heeps albums. I do disagree with some of the rankings. I think High and Mighty is a classic and Sweet Freedom should be in top row. Apart from that it’s a great watch. Thanks
Good list !! I've been a long time Heep fan since the mid 1970s. My list would be vaguely similar with one big change. "High & Mighty" would be much higher up. It has some crud on side 2 for sure. But "One Way Or Another" & "Weep In Silence" are amongst the very best Heep songs. Both songs display all the Heep elements!! Also, "Look At Yourself" would be No. 1.
I agree with most of your ranking except I rank sweet freedom and wake the sleeper higher. I’ve got chaos and color ranked 6th. Pretty good for a bunch of senior citizens 😂 I also enjoyed the video format !
My list Top Draw : Very Easy Very Umble, Demons And Wizards, Wake The Sleeper, Firefly, Living The Dream, Chaos & Colour, Into The Wild. Excellent : Salisbury, Look At Yourself, Fallen Angel, Sea Of Light, The Magician's Birthday. Solid : Sweet Freedom, Return To Fantasy, Innocent Victim, Wonderworld, Sonic Origami. Mixed : Head First, Abominog, Raging Silence, Different World, Conquest, Outsider. Ok : High And Mighty, Equator None of mine are in the correct order. The best album they have ever done was Demons & Wizards. The worst album they have done is Equator by a long shot.
I'm 43. Got into Heep before the release of Sonic Origami when I was 17! Anyone talking about Heep in 2023 deserves my attention. I don't 100% agree with your ranking, but who cares? Music is subjective! PS - Equator and Conquest need to be in the 'Trash' category. Let's face it... crap albums don't deserve to be OK ;)

That's a pretty good list, can't argue much, would be interesting to see where you rank the latest Saxon in their catalogue.
Saxon is coming ......
Nice way to help decision-making. I agree with most of your ranking, except for some things here and there.
Thanks for sharing!
