You have the same addiction to retro Kona's as I have lol I currently own 94 Fire Mountain 95 Lava Dome 97 Cinder Cone 2000 Nunu After a 90's Kileaua and a 91 Lava Dome in purple, my first ever Kona. Nothing like a good old Kona. That Lave Dome looks really good, with the green additions, from the condition it was in. Keep up the good work 👏 👍
Thanks and nice collection you've got there! yep there's not a lot of mainstream bikes that are as cool in my opinion. Teenage me always wanted one but never managed to get one.
I too love the old 90's mountain bikes. I have a 97 Rockhopper I plan on leaving as stock as possible. I will change the seat, pedals and grips. I also have those bar ends. I grown to love them believe it or not.
Oh yes, they are nice and secure. The building site you can see in the background of all my videos currently should look nice by the summer, hopefully...
Just picked up a 93 hahanna that's in pretty good shape. I feel like I should try to restore and preserve it as best I can--but I also really want to ride it.
Have some old Shimano 600 integrated shifters. So I'm going to drop bar it and leave everything else besides saddle and pedals. The rest will just be a clean, touch up paint scratches, wax, and new cables and housing.
I think you paid way too much for that condition. But what do i know about asking prices for 90's mtb's in the UK these days. Here in South Florida you can pick'em up for $50 or less . Hell $100 will get you something in way better shape than that. Good luck
@@TheRetroBiker I have actually found out on Iona Facebook mine are not the correct ones. I have a 93 p2 forks and what looks like a Marin velocity stem. The shop must have changed them to make a little profit or something.🫤

There's something about them, better then the soulless huge wheel bikes sold now
Beautiful! What a classic. Keen to see the finished build
Thanks, won't be loads different, more green bit and less rusty ha ha.
Sweet ride. Used to love those wild grippers
Thank very much, it's still.one of my favourite bikes. The Wildgrippers on it now are a bit dry rotted sadly.
The bike i always wanted. Still looking for one. Looks awesome and a great price. Keep the videos coming
Cheers Ross, there's another 94 for sale on Facebook, all STX though. Also he's after £350 for it
Hope your building a nice shed for the collection in the yard . Have to spray penetrating oil in all the frame holes for to pause any corrosion.

Nice one! You should do what you'd like to do to it, even if that's stripping it and building it up with modern bits 😁👍

I saw you a few days ago on the way to work, the bike looked great
Awesome, thanks. You should have beeped or shouted 😊
a nice find, very cool
Thanks very much, got lucky with this (thanks to a mate pointing it out)
Those x lite skewers are beautiful
Thanks, I'm saving them for something, not sure what yet 🤔
Seeing how that bike was packed….makes me think I’m either great at packing bikes or massively over doing it!!!
Ha ha, pure luck nothing came out the box or got damaged 🤣
Good price, love the Lave Dome greens..... bit too rusty for my liking 🤔 Mind you, nothing wrong with a bit of patina
Yeah I know what you mean, I going to see what I can do with a polish, might come up a bit better 🤔

Everyone has a different stem to me and the fork mine has only white outline p2… I have the same lava dome
That's strange, think they are replacement decals?
