When I cook a Mancunian paella I add the rice after the meat and veg are added and stir it aound a little, so the rice gets coated with the juices and seperates well. Then I add the stock (not just water). A little dash of turmuric also helps liven the colour up a bit if saffron is out of yer budget.

Traditional paella 🥘 is either chicken and rabbit not pork and a seafood paella. X
Incorrect, valencia is the only recognised original paella which your correct included rabbit chicken and pork.
Never seafood or sausage or chorizo and certainly never mixed!
There's a saying in Spain which says, direct origin of paella is a Valencia recipe, anything else is just rice with bits and Bob's!
