I pulled out my.heman from a toate and my swift wind with the see through pink see through plastic and the gold gliter wings. The wings were sooo oily and wet ! Even after i washed my hands. They still were sticky ...now that's toy sweats !
Would have liked to get one just because I thought he was one of the rock lords from transformers as a kid, but only if he was still available Friday when I get paid. Not going to lose sleep over missing it.
I live in USA, i skipped Rokon, i'm just tired of Exclusives & paying from Mattel Creations Website, especially in the middle of a College Class day. Looking forward to Motu Origins STONEDAR instead hope he is not an exclusive from MC website.(coming soon STONEDAR which has a better color scheme i seen in vintage & classics toys than Rokon.)
This was disaster. They didn't ship to my country Croatia. So I have to order to other country. I agree with you, it's OK for deep cuts, but not for crucial figures. Mattel doesn't give a f..k about fans and collectors. Give us made to order.
I am in australia, pregnant wife, baby asleep in the same room… horrendous nights sleep waiting for the 3:50am alarm. I got up, staggered to my laptop… sat, waited, hit refresh…. the universe paused…. my heart sank, thinking to myself, “how?!” Then i had to pick the different item, which was a rabbit compared to baseball hats. I got through, i hit buy, i got to shipping, my number wasn’t there, had to remember my own mobile phone number… I got it, i hit my info, it went in…. I got my order processed…. i had to wait….. i got my order confirmed. ROKKON!
Just watching the replay now, and it looks like it finally sold out. Checked before lunch and it was still available. So seems like it lasted a couple hours-ish. Congrats on those who got theirs!
@@maradona8623 yeah, pretty disappointed that they don't go with a make to order model. I collect the line and hate when I miss out on key characters from the original toy line because they sell out shortly after going live.
They'll never say so but its a tactic that feeds addictive/compulsive behaviour. It's similar to NFT "drops" that I've seen co-workers planning their day around. The limited window of buying helps cause people to loose their minds thinking they've got something special.
They still didn’t make enough, just saying. Is it Origins > Masterverse? Or they think Masterverse sells better? But the shipping taxes Matty uses is hard for ONE fig…
Update: Just got an email from Mattel, my Rokkon figures have shipped today already; I thought they said it would be on May 17 or before, but that early? Anyone else got that notification?
I was at a doctors appointment today and couldn’t get to a device to order this and once I got out it was sold out. I really wanted this figure so bad if anyone has an extra one that be willing to part with let me know.
Bullshit ! I was on at 9am trying to get one during a 10 min break at work kept saying to refresh for 10 min , then my break was over so ran out of time!
Not trying to be negative in any way, but I just wanted to correct you in one detail. Given the circumstances related to Mattel Creations more limited one day drops, and current issues with international shipping, has made it less likely for people to as you put it "fill out the rest of their vintage MOTU Origins through Mattel Creations". I dare say, that unless you reside in the US or one of the few countries that were lucky enough to make the cut, then those unfortunate members of the fan base have next to no chance of achieving those goals. Not unless they can afford to pay third party inflated prices online. Plus let's not forget the fact that each of these sales are usually made in one day (more like one hour if we're lucky), where the cost only goes up once sold out. At least retail items go into circulation over the course of a few months with several opportunities to be restocked at the same price as day one.
The 1hr sales are definitely a tactic for building addiction into your collector base. I've seen it with people who collect NFT's. It's a crappy tactic but effective.
@@TheGamingHoser I couldn't agree more. If there's one thing that Mattel is truly good at, it's making money from people. Their methods are far from customer friendly.
Looks like it sold out in under two hours. I wonder if we will get some kind of statement from Mattel about the region lock of the pre-order. I vaguely remember them stating that the MC Origins figures will be in good supply and avilable to anyone who wants them. I am glad I got my order in, but I imagine there are a lot of sad-faced MOTU fans around the globe who missed out because of this "last minute" change (or because they couldn't make it to a computer during those two hours). Not a great start to the MC-only Origins releases.
Couldn't catch the livestream because of work, but I got someone to cover long enough to order Rokkon!
I am a toy collector and I work retail and I can confirm Hotwheel collectors ARE the worst.
Naked Stratos was the “Jump the shark” figure. I can still find him at retail 2 years later.
however, it’s not that common at all in Europe

My captcha was choose what needs water to survive and it was pics of dogs and cars 😂
Got one! Super excited for this one. Hope we get his brother and sister soon.
It was pretty smooth! Got my 2
Got 3 yo. Got a "something with feet" for the captcha. And a bunch of birds in the thumbnails 🤔
Phew 😮💨 got it

If they are going online only they should make it to order. Give a two week window order.
Preorders should come before manufacturing. They are leaving a lot of money on the table, and a lot of unhappy customers.

Missed out unfortunately. Hate this $h!t in the middle of a work day.
Totally agree with the bull, some of us have to work!

Dang sorry man mattel have to fix this problem everyone should be able to get these figures

GOOD
I don’t mind at all actually, I just wanted 3 and the counter got up to 4 and I was surprised and didn’t know how this happened
Mattel had a pejorative practice against Latin Americans and many others, I hope you mention it as an act of solidarity towards those MOTU fans.

Not bad, but the MOTU Classics is still the superior version 🪨

Damn that’s rough,10min of refresh!

Got 10 of them
I hate how something so basic as this and made by such a major corporation is so difficult to buy and get hold of 🤬
Pick out which animal is different from the lions and racoons? This is like a Trump mental test lol😅
