If you're not planning to take advantage of the towing capacity then I could see taking the plunge on seeing how long that CVT could or might last.
Buy some and they’ll make them!!
I have a Manual 2019 and at 45,000 miles have had nothing but issues with it since.
@@mikeoxlong3676 Curious what issues. I'm in my 50's and I've owned nothing but manual vehicles. But I've never owned a Subaru nor even driven a manual one.
Subaru needs to bring back the automatic transmission. The only reason I’m not buying a Subaru is because it has a CVT . We need an automatic transmission.
So how much cargo space does it have??
I wonder why the price of the Premium trim was not mentioned at all.
my 2018 Crosstrek has the same gauges and infotainment screen. They are outdated as hell. An 11 inch screen doesnt do anything but get in the way. Amazing car though
What’s with the flashing dash ?
LED flicker interferes with the video frame rate. You don't see it with the naked eye. A common effect on youtube video reviews!
They just need to put the WRX powertrain in one of these. They'd have such a huge following
The cross trek sells more models than the wrx. It already has a huge following lol
Australia only gets the 2.0 litre. Shame they never updated this engine as it’s the only thing letting it down. So I’m going for the new 2.4 turbo in the outback. A much better buy.
Huge SUV 👍
In Lynn we Trust 🙏🏼
wonder if Subaru fixed that Thermo Control Valve Failures on these
Love Subaru. However, they shouldn’t get a pass on some of the cheap interior plastics. Some look really bad
Im getting one of these
Subaru should bring back the baja , similar clearance as the cross trek, 6spd manual, 4.5-5ft bed. Big sunroof.. hot chick in the backyard
I love Subarus 👍👍👍👍👍
Brakes are a huge upgrade former 18 cr to ctw
Your Chevy dealer will give you a sizeable discount on a Blazer. Your Subaru dealer might demand a markup over MSRP.
Got my crosstrek limited $2K under sticker
But you have a chevy...
Which dealer?@@Esoxfan
Chevy? No thanks
I got my Subaru Crosstrek wilderness $4000 under and no add ons
AWD standard on Mazda CX 30 too.
Does this update actually create more difference than a raised Impreza?
I want the front end to be slightly shorter
@krzysztofduszkiewicz565 disagree. Shorter front looks better to me at least
This car identifies itself as a SUV, stop oppressing it!
Most of the car looks pretty great, although I think they messed up the back really badly
With the torque constant torque demands of full-time all-wheel drive, They'll care in about 100,000 miles (or less) when the CVT fails. Refinement isn't the issue. Durability is.
Nice package overall, but no thanks. Not without a stick.
The MSRP of 27,096 is the true MSRP for the base model Subaru Crosstrek.
It’s the Subaru factory that is lying, saying the MSRP is 25,095.
Dealers would never lie.
I think Subaru should have a leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter for all the models not just Sport on up!
Every TH-cam tester says they are cheap to buy but if you can even find one on the lot they are marked up $5k And the Japanese made a perfectly good automatic and manual transmission just like Nissan they insist on putting CVTs in their cars and no more manuals
Trailblazer Activ is more of a competitor to this car than Blazer
The Blazer is midsized, so it would compete with the Outback.
With a 3 cylinder engine?? No thank you!! How would a 3 cylinder survive December, January, and February in a cold climate and snow??
Like a 4 cylinder but with one less cylinder
@@lynellethompson5521What does temperature have to do with the number of cylinders? LOL
@@sleeksilver I need a car that will start when it is -40 degrees Fahrenheit or colder!! I don’t want a vehicle that is going to freeze up on me!! Like I said “No thank you” to a 3 cylinder engine because I don’t trust them not to freeze up!! Let California have all of those 3 cylinder vehicles!!
Confirmed: Lyn is in her Reputation era. 😂
I love the cladding on my Crosstrek!! I've had someone let a shopping cart roll into me and I got only 1 little scratch on my bumper and then the cart rolled into the cladding and stopped with no scratches at all. I had another probably mentally ill person ram my Crosstrek with a shopping cart in a Co-op parking lot with no scratching because he hit the cladding!! Questioning if one or both situations might have been a theft attempt. Just be sure to keep your car doors locked!!
I had a rollaway shopping cart run in to my 6-month-old Chevy Cruze hatchback $1500 to repair it I just took the ck. The dent is still there 5 years later 🤣
@@johnmitchell2741 😳
@@johnmitchell2741 I’m so sorry!!
Wow, 5’4” and stunning 😉 and nice boots 👍
She's right, ya know !
V6 please 🙏
This would do me well in Jamaica
Brake boosters fail on these. Youll start getting a squeak in your brake pedal. Make sure to get it taken care of during warranty period.
This car is a no-brainer? I'm confident many people with brains buy one.
I wish that was true about the BRZ (AWD).
It has a new brake vacuum booster What does that mean🤣
I would not buy any Subaru with a CVT. I own a 2020 Outback and the CVT went out at 35,000 miles. Garbage. Too bad Toyota doesn’t make a similar vehicle. Great car, awesome concept. Engines burn huge amounts of oil and the transmissions are garbage. I’ll pass.
Que dama tan HERMOSA!!!😍
Nice ❤
CVT is no go for me, or strictly a lease.
My guess is that she lost her phone while shooting the video
I would tune it to 300 horses and swap it to a manual, if it's possible.
And also the same car company that offers future blown head gaskets with the 2.5
6:30 interesting place to stash her smartphone.
With all the talk about CVT it must be a problem. Other than that nice car. If they have a lifetime warranty on transmission then maybe.
Subaru interior's are definitely not boring, but the quality could be so much better. For cars that have such hefty price tags even in the lower trims, why are brands using soooooooooooooooooo much plastic?
But how much can it tow?
It was stated 1500 lbs standard and 3500 (? Wow) for the Wilderness trim. Lynn covers all the bases.😊
@@matthewcurry425 It's 1500lbs for Base, Premium, Sport, and Limited, and 3,000lbs for the Wilderness. Towing 3,000lbs with a 182hp sub-compact would be a chore, however.
Bring back the manual
Chevy Blazer??!!!!
I think you mean Trailblazer.
7:59 "long tall body, even though I'm 5'4"??? Never underestimate the power of denial.
Thanks but CVT remains a dealbreaker
most people care about the CVT,
Evidently not, since the Crosstrek is the best selling model in the subcompact CUV segment by a huge margin. The presenter is right here. The current Subaru CVT is very good at its intended job. It's smooth, quiet, doesn't feel weird, and yields good fuel mileage. The average driver probably wouldn't know it's a CVT unless you told them. Speaking from personal experience as a 2023 Crosstrek owner. The 182hp 2.5L and TR580 CVT auto is a great package overall for doing normal daily runabout stuff. I really like it, and my other cars are enthusiast collector cars.
@@ZeGermanHam Thank you. I just bought the Outback Touring XT so this is reassuring.
Subaru, the oldest heated heated seat buttons in the game
The best heated heated seat buttons you can get in any brand.
Unless you are announcing the end of CVT only offering, we care not.
Yet here you are 🤷
Then why bother to leave a comment?
"I'm not cramped at all. I have a long, tall body at 5'4"." God bless chick car reviewers.
she could have a longer torso than you but still be shorter... god bless your little brain
