Another thing worth highlighting is that Michelin has added its patented technology (velvet textured sidewall). I was skeptical at first but it's makes the sidewalls stand out and give a superb look!

Great that you’d sacrifice 2 brand new tires for us, incredibly ridiculous that you chose to pan across both for a total of 10 seconds. Not a signal still shot, or side by side Comparison. Major disappointment

I have been riding on this rear tire for the last 9000 km on my 2014 Street Glide and recently had a scary experience in wet conditions. While maintaining speed (not accelerating) the tire broke loose on new wet asphalt. Two of my friends who also have Street Glides and the same rear tire have both experienced similar traction issues with this tire. None of us felt it was a hydroplane situation and none of us were in the center of the lane where oil collects. If you are considering this tire or already have it be careful in wet conditions.

Holy Jumpin Jeezus! Cutting two new tires in half for a video? Ok. This is the most badass review in all of internet land! SUBSCRIBED!
I have the Commander II on my Electra Glide. 15k and not close to worn out. Going for the III's when it's time

Those commanders come in steel belted radials, both, front AND back? Possibly in white walls maybe! The other tire is the Dunlop American Elite- the same questions! I can tell you're not a dufus when it comes to motorcycle products and information, this is why I feel safe to ask you these questions about these 2 tires for these 2 motorcycle models. Thanks for your help. Doug 🏍️👍🤓🐻🦁

Hey Pete, you make being "diabolical"; against a motorcycle tire, the absolute in relaxing and "aggression therapy" at its finest! I'm looking at 2 different bikes to purchase. 1.) A Kawasaki Vulcan S 650.
2.) A Harley-Davidson Iron 883. Both new models-question, does the Michelin Commander III come in steel belted radials

I have a Yamaha XV1900 Midnightstar and there is only Touring avalible for the front wheel and Cruiser for the back wheel - is it OK to mix?

I was going to ask the same question. I have two sets of wheels but wanted to upgrade to 3's in rear. Is it safe?

Vibrations issues, front tire has design flaw. Research it, same issues documented

2018 RGS. Tires , make bike vibrate at 55-60 MPH . Makes my hands numb . Verified balance and pressure were correct .

Same vibration/buzzing in the grips. Mounted them on a Yamaha Stratoliner.

I have the same vibration at 60 mph. I’ve put about 500 miles on these tires and it’s not going away.

Worst wet weather tyre I have ever used on the rear. Great in the dry, and getting ok life out of them compared to the OEM Dunlops, but wow are they scary in rain, proper wet roads. Ok on damp roads, squirrelly but not scary. Up the amount of water though and they are downright dangerous. Have the CIII cruiser on the rear of a Vulcan 900. Touring on the front due to stock issues. Front it OK, but I won’t be getting another rear.

Just added a 130/70R18 and matching 180/55R18 to my 2021 Ultra Limited. Instant front end vibration like holding on to a bee hive at 40 MPH. Crazy center wear pattern at just about 150 miles. Terrible tires. Worst part, Michelin denied warranties service for “improper fitment.” They make a tire that fits an ultra, but don’t support the fitment. Brand new tires are worthless. Date code 0421. I would steer clear from these tires if you have an ultra. Expensive dumpster fire.

Haven’t felt a wobble, just beehive like vibration in the front end with slipping feel in the slow turns. Terrible tires.

To destroy top of the line tires for no reason is somewhat sensless, one would think. Well I could have used them purposely and proven much more on my bike. Just saying.

To be honest .My rear comm 3 is okay .my front has been balanced twice , still sent vibration through my bars at certain speeds . Swapped it out for a Pirelli .Vibration gone . Simple . I'm not the only one this has happened to , ask around .

      @@shaneitsaname6135 o.k. thanks for respons.
I know that putting on Michelin tires is a little bit more difficult than other brands.
(Two times told by professional motorcycle-tires specialists at two different servicestations)
They told me: It takes a little more affort to put them on right.
But the most important is: you must feel allright on your tires whatever the brand.

Same issue on a 2021 FLHTK. 130/70R18 on the front. Terrible mold line wear just off center. Vibration is gone when leaning. Date code 0421. I would avoid these if you have an ultra. Not a supported fitment according to Michelin.
