as someone who’s trying to get in music college, could u pls tell me your major? And what things do u actually practice and learn in there? As much as i’ve watched this video , it was about guitar and piano and vocal and theory, do u have to learn all the instruments? What’s the deal exactly?
I am a music business major, and I am in the marketing track so I mostly learn the marketing side of music business. You get music classes like ear training, music theory classes, ensembles as well as classes in the major you choose. No you don't have to learn all instruments but you can take them for general elective credits. So basically you audition with an instrument, which will be your principal instrument and have private instructions in that instrument, but there is a new program where you learn music business without studying music and focusing on business.
