@underground tech can you use your watch to play the music on your phone? not via the watch but thru the phone (lets say i have a head set and the phone in my pocket) can i swich tracks tru the the watch?

The DZ09 will work with a T-Mobile sim. It probably won't work with any other company's sim. The DZ09 only does 2G, and AT&T is phasing out 2G in 2016. T-Mobile is now the only company with reliable 2G networks in the U. S. My T-Mobile sim works fine in the DZ09.

Hi there, I just got a DZ09, it can call out and receive calls but it wont send sms. i can receive them but when i reply all I get is a message saying "Cannot send, saved to outbox". Any ideas?
I had mine for 10 months and its been through things at work. Its a tough watch and works consistantly as long as its in range and synced which it does well. Battery life to me last most of the day. I only wear it for work to recieve notifications, text, time and calls because the phone is hard to get to in my pocket most of the time becuase my line of work.
I would say that the only thing they can improve or add is blutooh connectivity the range could be extended.
text feature is really nice if they can add voice to text then this will be a hit big time. I like quality sound so I really don't care about most of the media features like mp3 player or video player. Lets put it this way if some feature work so so and are not accurate and too much money to improve then get rid of it and improve on other phones features that are needed and work.
The bluetooth can be improved only if they use 4.0 which has way higher range and consumes less power. But to support it it also needs a better CPU chipset. Just pick a bluetooth 4.0 watch next.

Profetu Rulz the range is fine not a big deal just saying it can be improved. I don't lose connection when it's on m my wrist and phone is in my pocket where it is most of the time at work anyways. This watch is great for the price. I don't need a$100_200 dollar watch for it to do what I need it to do. This watch gets the job done.

When you click bluetooth do you get 4 options including the option to 'Search for new device' ... Because I only get 3 options and can't actually search for bluetooth devices on mine

I am confused about the amazon links in your description. Aren't the watches you linked v1.0 watches? Both of them have that golden roman numeral clock, and if i recall in one of your videos, only the 1.0 watch has the golden roman numeral clock...

Any GSM - so T-Mobile in the USA, Rogers in Canada (these watches usually only do 2G).
it does I have the same watch and wat I did was turn of the media on the Bluetooth setting so when I connect my speaker i can still receive all notifications and calls on the watch

I also prefer the DZ09 over the U8. I really like that on the DZ09 the messages appear on the screan whereas on the U8 it only shows you a symbol up in the corner then you have to open that. DZ09 is a great watch for the price.

Used my Vodafone Germany SIM card (GSM network). Once I got the card in the right way around - it seesms possible to out it in both ways around!) I called my self from a land line and the phone in the watch works! I then called my mobile phone from the watch - also worked without a problem!
I can see that in marginal network coverage areas the small watch antenna could have problems but in general - this is very impressive for a 11 Euro smart watch!
All calls were "local" i.e. not via bluetooth.

Nice review, Got given one yesterday, installed a bt dialer from the play store and its working fine. You can get them for about £7 on ebay in the UK. I would not use it as my main watch but it works well. Could not be bothered to charge it all the time.

i dont get it has fb and twitter apps right , so that means can it connect to wifi , or uses wifi from bluetooth paired smartphones.
First its $18 and no you cannot connect wifi. You can only connect to bluetooth to smart phone. The only way to use FB and radio is to install a sim card.

So far my DZ09 V2.0 works fine (both data and voice) on Malaysia major carrier like Maxis, DiGi and Celcom.
I have the same watch, but it is useless because the volume is so low. I have been unable to figure out how to raise it. I went into the settings mode, and my only options were changing the type of setting, but not the volume. Any thoughts, anyone? Thank you
