Mine seems like a hybrid. I know this sounds wierd, but some things that work on the real one work on mine and some things that work on the fake one dont work on mine. The one i have is different than both in settings and placement.

I've just received one and *#8375# works but the screen is not a black font on a white background.
Also, *#00000000# doesn't do anything.
I suspect I have a fake but still not sure since I don't know how much has changed to the original over a year later.

@@rogalsiu i tried it did not it just sends messages and calls through Bluetooth and plus the dz09 is a 2g watch and 2g is shut down so it won't even work with a simcard and if you want a watch with Google assistant you will need a watch with wearos or a android smart watch

Mine's apparently fake, which I am ok with since I only paid $7 for it to use as a cheap watch to use at work, and it works fine.

The difference is 2.0 (the newest one) and the original one..
Also different makers set up their menu differently..
They are both the same watch..
If you Google any watch model of the overseas brand, there's like 2 or 3 makers..
eBay, Banggood, AliExpress, etc stores support different makers..
And the 2020 date is how long the build is dated good for..

It's not a jar of pickles. Who puts the build date down as an expiration? That's not a thing programmers do. Was there a build made in 2020? If so, how does it compare? Are we looking at time travelers here?

4:38 .. Dude, the watch's software says it's from 2020. The video is 2018. Yet... in 2022, that watch is selling for less then $10.
Sure, it's likely just a bug in a knockoff.... but... just imagine if somebody from future bought a mess of these and sold them off back in the past, when they were worth more then $10? Who would notice a time traveler selling off a few old Chinese knockoff smartwatches?

There are lots of versions of these watches... I got both versions, old "fake" one works, real one 2019 has no remote camera, no bt notification app, (notifications will not appear in watch) no video recording and the same 0,3M camera... Guess left one is an old device, not a fake
