Rapid hit is gonna be MASSIVE. Especially with enhanced stuff. Honestly, on a 120 enhanced precision instrument is basically useless. Doesn't ramp up faster, won't change ttk, no extra stats. People clown rapid hit on 140s, but on 120s I feel like it is borderline best in slot if not straight up the best in slot. Other than the fire rate, the worst stats on 120s are stability and reload. Getting to add both with one perk for doing literally what you should be already, which is hitting shots, is straight up games changing for aggressives. Once I knew that was going to be on the table for the reprisal of Something New, I completely lost interest in Crimils. Cause while the model looks cooler imo, it handles like drinking concrete through a paper straw. Also, it isn't lost on me that with the compass rose coming back with enhanced opening shot and enhanced threat detector, people are legit going to be running two solstice weapons in their kinetic and energy slots. Like, not since the release of grasp do I feel like one activity would reward you with a high end PvP primary and secondary. Hopefully they'll drop with double perk drops so we can farm them easier, too
I also find the new arc super the most annoying super, both to use and to be used on. Its projectile is surprisingly big and it feels like it gets caught on random geometry more than tether.
One nice (but niche) thing with this handcannon is the origin trait! Skulking Wolf is actually kinda cool, giving you enhanced radar and taking you off ENEMY'S radar if you get a kill with it at low HP. You can see it proc pretty often in this video by checking Wallah's radar; when the perk is up you can see the enhanced radar with the smaller directional indicators. It's certainly not the strongest origin trait in the game, but definitely not the weakest! Going off radar is really powerful if you have the presence of mind to realize you've activated it, and being at low HP is often the time when you don't want people to know where you are. You can definitely surprise people trying to third party a gunfight you've just won by running up on them while they have no clue you're there.
I have to say something that I discovered using a roll of this with Zen Moment+Slideways: That perk combo is absolutely insane. You need to try it. Its my favorite now on a 120. And you will see exactly what I mean if you get this roll. They compliment each other perfectly.
i got mine enhanced with flutted, accurized, stability master, moving target and precision instrument and it feels quite nice. slightly jarring experience compared to the buttery smooth igneous but it’s not bad, i enjoy this gun a lot
If you time it right you can throw a suppressor made at the floor and when the super lands it'll take them out, I did it once successfully, was just trying to kill him, but I survived
i cant handle anything other than a 140 because its either too slow for me or too fast and i end up timing my shots wrong. but then luna's was brought back and now i never want to take it off... A genuine skill issue...

Idk, with iron grip its barely any better than a new god rolled Crimil's stat wise and it's definitely not any better than Igneous. Although that's in the energy slot. It's only when you factor in slideshot that Steady Hand is better, and that's only active for one shot.

@@abdalrhman7998 you have a fundamental misunderstanding of how slideshot works. It grants 20 range and 20 stability on the next shot within 2.5 seconds after activation. It only affects the first shot after activation, none of the following shots are affected unless you reactivate it. Also the reason why steady hand is so good is because of iron grip and slideshot *in combination* . Take away one of those perks and it's then just a very average 120 hand cannon. It wouldn't compete with Igneous without those two perks. Yes PI gives forgiveness if you can't land crits which is appealing on this archetype. But you're then giving up the whole reason why you'd use that particular gun in the first place. You only use it for that stat package provided to you by those two perks. Because the base stats are very mediocre without iron grip and don't stand out at all. The 3rd column could be swapped out for zen or quickdraw, but range is more important to a lot of people so slideshot is the most popular pick. Slideshot didn't become more popular because of hand cannon changes, it was because of the zoom changes that it rose in popularity and effectiveness.
My first impressions of this thing is that it is amazing. The obvious comparisons are going to be Igneous Hammer and Steady Hand, which on the surface it doesn't come close to competing with Iggy's insane stats and Steady Hand's elite slideshot + iron grip combo. However, slideways helps this gun a ton, and especially when enhanced, actually brings this thing pretty in line with Iggy, and enhanced Precision Instrument is also nice, letting you 2h1b more resiliences if you don't hit a crit as your last shot. Overall, sure, a god roll adept Igenous Hammer is going to still be slightly better than a god roll Crimil's Dagger, but Crimil's is certainly a close second. The real question is when will we get energy slot specials that are equally as strong as the likes of Conditinal Finality, Someday, or snipers like Eye of Sol and Defiance of Yasmin, to complement kinetic slot primaries like Crimil's Dagger.
@@jonathancotter7429 Duality is very strong, but it's not "always-100-range-and-100-handling" strong like Someday. Also, I think its slug shotgun mode is still bugged to have much shorter damage fall-off than it's supposed to. In terms of pure slug performance, I'd also take Chaperone or even Heritage over Duality for their better aim assist and range (thus accuracy). You're right, it probably is more consistent than Conditional, but Conditional Finality has the added utility of being an anti-super weapon with its freeze and ignition.

I crafted my heritage with hip-fire and offhand and it has about 3000 crucible kills. chap is goated but wiffs sometimes on the first shot, which I hate and conditional wiffs alot for me. cloudstrike is sick and so is beloved, if you're into that.
I usually don't care for arguments for weapon supremacy in certain archetypes, but with 120's Igneous Hammer is such an absurd outlier for both stats and perks that i really feel bungie needs to address the discrepancy there. It really just feels like i shouldn't use any other 120 except Igneous.
They did say it will be coming back. They mentioned it when they talked about the changes to crimil's and something new, but they said it would be later down the road for steady hand. They didn't say when exactly. I don't think it will make this episode's IB.

It has got Zen Moment which is very unique for a 120. Not many have them. And the ones that do were sunset and have really bad stats. Or they just have bad stats. Combined action is the most recent, and that has awful stats. Crimil's Dagger is somewhat in the same ballpark as Igneous at least.

I'm going to be farming for that exact roll but with zen moment, I've played around with one with zen and it does wonders for this gun. And claws of the wolf looks to be a very good rapid fire pulse too with Zen and headseeker.

Small bore/projection fuse/under pressure/HIR/Charge Time MW. I could get a bit more range without really losing anything but this one in particular is simply a perfect recreation of the old one i used before it was craftable since its one of my most used guns. Back then, HIR would offset the dmg loss from the charge rate MW so i could still 1 burst all resils, honestly no idea if thats still a thing since the health changes
This weapon aint even that great but I love it, I had the sunset one and just because I love using it I play better with this than some meta hand cannons, its something special.
Adagio is funny cause it'll lower your TTK to .60s on targets at/below T9 resilience but increase it to 1.20s if they have T10
So its a trade off to fuck hunters but also getting fucked by titans.
