One of my best hours in watching sport was his victories in the Tour de France 1997, his goldmedal in Sydney 2000, his victories in the world-championship-time-trial 1999 und 2001. And of course his great comeback in the year 2003. I know, Ullrich had not so much victories than Lance Armstrong, but I think, the style from Ullrich was amazing. Nobody ever had this perfect style.

I watched this race live in my early 20ies, now just heard 1 min in my lunch break and Duffield's thick british accent of national rider names make it for me as a Dane difficult to relate to the riders, though I know hwo they were. First time I watch this since live signal. Very interesting. Will watch last 7 mins in the middle of the night later.
Ulrich always super talented and no denying that. Could have had a much better palmares if his heart was more into it or had better DS maybe. Regardless his career is nothing to sneeze at and great sprint way back in 93.Love the Eurosport coverage no disrespect to Phil Ligget..
