  • In this tutorial I show how to draw annotative objects (annotative text and annotative dimensions). We specify the paper height of the objects.
Basically if we want the text height in our paper (after printing it) to measure 5mm, that's the value we specify.
    Contents:
    0:27 Annotative text
    2:51 Annotative dimensions
If you have any questions or comments please feel free to post :).

Thanks for the great videos. Only thing I would recommend is to higher your overall volume just a little.
    Thanks again! 👍

Annotation is automatic. Everytime you changed the scale it will follow.

um you don't explain the difference between annotative text and non-annotative text. you just show us how to do it without the why

Hi. Actually this video is just to show how to draw Annotation objects and what they mean. I apologized that I haven't compared with the standard text, but it wasn't the point of this video.

@@CADinblack But you had an opportunity to say here what that difference is....... and yet you still missed the poster's question. I too have the same. WHY and WHEN would you use Annotative Text and dimensions ?? WHAT is the advantage? Merely stating this in the video would have been helpful and it's missing..... You can respond to me as well that it wasn't the point, but this is basic stuff when it comes to teaching, you explain WHY you would do this and what are the benefits etc.
In fact, I actually use BricsCAD and in this alternative video, about Annotative scaling, the VERY FIRST THING he does is EXPLAIN *what* annotative text/scaling is and *what* are the benefits (aka *the why*).
