The reason why I love the pillows is their sound, unlike other mainstream or popular anime’s, they are unique because it doesn’t have this industrial feel to it, when I watch anime’s the OP’s and OT’s are always with a cutesy high school girlish ring, not that it’s wrong but it’s just soo prevalent and common, i think they use it to sell more their products and boost sales. Greatest rock band to ever walk the face of the earth IMO. They inspired me to learn, and eventually become fluent in, Japanese. They taught me that it was possible to have an all-time favorite band. They have genuinely and permanently changed my life for the better, their California concert back in 2010 was the greatest night of my life. So immensely happy to see them get more recognition overseas; I hope that one day I can express my gratitude to them in person.

Nah, we already know which Pillows songs are going to be in "Progressive" episode 1 and "Alternative" episode 1, and there's no real stylistic pattern to the songs in either episode; they're all just Pillows-brand alternative/power pop songs. However, most of the music in the new seasons will be composed by RON from VERYGOO, so we'll have to wait and see if he has anything in store for us.
i think its moreso just that theyre just rock subgenres and that guitars and the soundtrack and the general ‘rebellion’ and acting like a kid doing whatever subtext kind of ties into the message of lots of punk stuff
