- Please note the Ti-Wax used in this video is a liming wax and not designed to be used as shown I did. Always read the instructions, especially when making a review video.

Hi Jake. The Ti wax is mainly supposed to be used as a liming wax.It even says so on the tin."open the grain of the wood with a soft metal brush, rub the wax deeply into the grain of the wood".
OOoops now where did I put my reading glasses. Cheers Keith I will have to read the label and have another play.
Lol! I've done a review on it on an ash bowl, and it works a treat!😀
Good video, Jake!
Thanks Rick. I really need to do a follow up as I mis-used the Ti Wax as this is supposed to be a liming product. That said I still want to experiment with it as it produced a very smooth finished used as I did in the video.
Thanks Jake, subbed
My pleasure. Welcome.
Thanks Jim and welcome.
It would have shown better if you used a darker wood
That's probably true. That wood was very light when first turned. I promise to try better next time.
Hi Jake - good to see you back doing vids. I don't have the Ti Wax but I think it's designed to be applied on a stationary lathe and is more like a lime wax so would probably be better suited to a darker wood with some open grain...hey I could be wrong but that was the impression I got from Martin. Anyway how is the new lathe hunting going, have you made any progress? - Cheers Simon
Thanks, looks like I need to read the label. Thanks for that. Lathe funds building slowly.
