Listening from Alberta Canada. Wish I was across the pond just so I could give Andy a hug and say thanks so much for inspiring me in music as a kid. Never found fame, but that's doesn't matter now. I still play bass, thanks, Steve. Andy, my mom loved you. She's gone now. Great memories. I'm glad you're healthy as can be. Love you tube for letting me see you ❤🎉.
Very interesting interview, like always with Andy. He always appears very humble, down to earth and bright. First time I saw him live with The Sweet was In Gothenburg April 1975. And it was nice to have a selfie taken with him here in Gävle, Sweden in about 2005.🎸🎤😊
Love the remark near the beginning about how Australians speak closer to the Queen's English than Americans. We haven't spoken the Queen's English since our ancestors came over here in the 1600s, lol. If he heard my southern accent (I sound pretty country), he'd probably chuckle and know he's dead right. I'd love to get Andy for an hour and ask him questions about the Sweet. He'd get mad at me after 10 minutes because all my questions would be about Mick.😅 The Sweet will always be in my heart. RIP Mick, Brian, and Steve. Never forgotten! 💞💘
Wish they would do a bio pic on UK Glam Rock from Bolan on. Just imagine all the bands that could be represented. TRex, Bowie, Sweet, Suzi Quatro, Slade, Gary Glitter, Mud, Alvin Stardust etc. But I s'pose the legality of song usage would be a headache. Would be a must watch.
May I ask you a question? Who made your channel banner? It's really cool! It looks like inspired by Hieronymus Bosch. P.S. I've just subscribed to the channel.
Oh please! Having lived through the entire Glam Rock era in England I can tell you that if it hadn’t been for Marc Bolan very few of these bands would’ve existed. It’s nice that Andy is still playing, I just get the feeling that a lot of stories maybe a little blown out of proportion. Still, good luck to him.

Yes it’s a superb piece by my good mate Cristian Frost. It’s different compared to what he usually does: bluethumb.com.au/cristian-frias-frost
@@ScarsandGuitarspodcast Thanks. I'm gonna have a look right away.
arhur brown was an early high range vocalist
Not a wig. It's his own hair
Queen definitely ripped off the high vocal harmonies

@@dancincrow Glam rock started with David Bowie.
And the guitar harmonies
his wig is so ridiculous. i get trying to keep the original look alive but it doesn't work at all
