Encanto deserves more than a refurbished attraction (especially a walk through with some cut outs) and Tarzan deserves its own attraction because it’s iconic
According to one of the "Mouse Tales" books, they did used to let people walk around in the children's bedroom at the Swiss Family Treehouse, but they had to rope it off because guests trashed the place.
Tarzan is my favorite Disney movie. 🥺 My dad picked me up early from daycare to see the movie in theaters when I was little, and he passed away when I was a teen. It’s one of the earliest memories I still have of him. The treehouse was the only representation of the movie in a park, so this is devastating to me. 😔
Sorry for your loss. Sounds like you have great memories of him. When I think of Tarzan, I remember listening to the soundtrack with my dad. Good times.

I'm actually very angry and sad about the closure/renovation. I had only been to Disneyland twice prior to getting my Magic Key. I hadn't had the chance to do this because I had limited time as I was a visitor to California from Orlando, Florida. After I moved to LA, I got my Magic Key on the 25th of August and went on August 31st. It was my third time ever going to Disneyland. Tarzan's Treehouse was open and I can even remember standing on the side of the first step while I was on my phone looking at upcoming closures and refurbishments for Disneyland. Since this attraction was not listed as closing or getting a refurb or anything else, I walked away and did other priority attractions that I knew would have a long wait since Tarzan's Treehouse was a walk-though attraction with no wait and was something I could do anytime and wasn't in any way of closing or what have you. It closed just three days later on September 3rd, randomly and without warning for a refurb. That refurb turned into a retheme and I will never get to do this attraction. This really stung. I wish I had known this was going to happen but I was not warned, no one was. I have gone to Disney World most of my life and they usually have the decency to inform people in advance if an attraction will be closing permanently or getting a simple refurb. I used to be an entertainment producer at DLR. I like the S.E.A idea but mostly love the idea of bringing back Swiss Family Robinson. Encanto is probably the mostly likely due to Synergy which I had been part of it.
Giving S.E.A. its forefront exhibit is inharmonious to the current theme of S.E.A. being a background theme-- it would be like dedicating the treehouse to hidden mickey's. Swiss Family would be my ideal choice for all the reasons (I also wish the Smiths had done the movie rather than After Earth), but Disney no longer creates trends but reacts to trends; In other words, Swiss has no current trend and Disney will not commit money to IP without a trend (unless that IP is Tron which never had a trend, they keep going back to Tron, why do they love Tron.... why won't you let Tron die?!?)... so the redesign is obviously Encanto.
@@KevinThurman I hope it’s not Encanto. I tried twice to watch the film and couldn’t get past the first 20 minutes. I was hoping for something akin to the glorious achievement of Coco, but sadly, it was far from anything watch-worthy. And I don’t care why nobody talks about Bruno and hope WDI isn’t talking about Encanto (although they are).
I think you are right about Swiss Family replacing the theme. Encanto makes no sense thematically since you have to walk through the house to get to Antonio's room so that's why I hope it's not encanto.
I think reverting it to Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse is the most logical option plus the one I’d like the most. Although I will say I think S.E.A. could be cool.
Really? Think about it, on average how many guests are big fans of the Swiss Family Robinson? Additionally, how many guests would even want to go to a Swiss Family Robinson attraction? I’m sure much less than Encanto or Tarzan fans.
@@stanfordite1 The purists are hilarious....Especially the imbecile ones who LMFAO actually buy into that "Uncle Walt" image that Walt Disney displayed to the public...The same "Uncle" Walt who said that Disneyland would never be finished and should never stay the same..SO if it were up to "Uncle" Walt every single ride in that park would have probably been removed and changed 10 times over by now.
Disney fans seeing the stump removed: Well, it looks...it's... Me, who's used to the tree, quoting Turk from Tarzan: That's freaking lookin', okay, that's what it is.
I would like a Swiss treehouse again as it is one of the old rides I would love to get the chance to ride. However, there is one possiblity that no one seems to be talking about, a Princess and the Frog treehouse. Remember the "Dig a Little Deeper" scene? Wouldn't the treehouse work for that and tie into the new Splash Mountain? Probably won't happen specifically because of the rethene of Splash but it's not an impossibility until they say otherwise.
I am fully in the camp of SEA being the theme. Like you said they have the upcoming SEA show on D+, and with Splash Mountain getting the PatF retheme we can already see New Orleans Square getting some updates. One other thing I don’t see anyone talking about is also we know Magic Bands are coming to DLR, Magicband+ to be exact. If you were about to reopen an attraction with interactions, then your going to be showcaseing them. What better theme then SEA and all its secrets and mystical connections to have a bunch of MB+ interactive points? Maybe Turk will appear in a painting magically? Who knows!
Encanto doesn’t make sense to me, any attraction themed to Encanto would need the Casita. Everything in the movie takes place in or around the Casita. Having Antonio’s tree house room without the Casita completely removes context.
@Joshua Munn I’m firmly of the opinion that they’re either going to return to a version of Swiss Family Robinson or somehow linking it in to the Pirates of the Caribbean renovations next door.
@Joshua Munn nope, I was just there yesterday. It’s been closed for far too long for just a little paint and polish. It just seems odd that two attractions literally next door to each other closed for significant refurbishment at the exact same time.
@Joshua Munn that’s a theory I’ve had as well. It’s been interesting walking around Disneyland over the past couple of days there is definitely a retro vibe going on, much remembering of the past and Star Wars, lots of Star Wars (outside of Avengers Campus, Marvel has barely made an impact, but Star Wars is everywhere).
I would love to see more of the S.E.A. in the parks to learn more about the players involved! I enjoyed the Swiss Family Treehouse, but I thought the Tarzan overlay was fine, also. If it does go away, though, we won't have as many references to Turk in the parks!
My friends were just there this Sunday and that area of Adventueland was EMPTY! No stump. No bridge! I asked them walkaround in the spot the stump once was to pay respects for the good memories lol
My family went to California (from Minnesota) for the NEA convention when I was a kid. While we were there, we spent a day at DisneyLand. I was so young that I don't remember much but I do remember the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse and It's a Small World. And that my older sister wore the wrong shoes and complained about her sore feet the whole day! Turk
I'd always love to see more SEA stuff, though an interactive Robinson treehouse sounds super awesome, I love the feel of stuff from that time period like the jungle cruise or indy. I do wonder what Turk would think of the retheming, though...
I feel like Encanto was such a major movie that to retheme the treehouse and have that be the one and only Encanto attraction doesn't make sense to me. The treehouse is too small and has too low of a capacity to handle the huge crowds that would want to experience an Encanto attraction. Its also so small that there's no way it could feature all of the characters since the Madrigal family is huge..
Love seeing where this is going, you been doing an amazing job covering this and we been right there with you with your videos. Please keep them coming!
I was a kid when they built the original SFR treehouse and loved it...I was 8 years old..loved climbing trees and I wanted to live in that tree! I've heard Chip and Dale's treehouse is a possibility?? SEA or SFR both fit Adventureland and would be good..no to Encanto.. Turk..thanks for your video
@@LorNrocks I don't see thar fitting in Adventureland myself but it was one of the theories I heard going around..and yes I'm sad it's being torn down..I miss Bugs Land myself..it was so charming
My parents got me a churro candle from the magic candle company but didn't know you had a code, and I was like "Noooooo you didn't give Dallin his candle money!"
Not a lot of people are saying this, but I'll say it. It could be re-themed to Avatar. With the new films coming out, Disney's got to promote it somehow within Disneyland. They could simply explain that the tree is a Pandoran tree, and have bioluminescent effects higher up in the walk-through.
Thanks so much for another entertaining and informative video anticipating the news that Disney will announce later and staying one step ahead-loved the vintage footage with Walt. I don’t know much about Turk, but I am glad you do!
I hadn't heard that SFR was returning to TV, cautiously optimistic for now. I like the idea of a return to the OG design, tired of MK getting all the things California lost (hello country bears!). My fear is a private club (Club ThirtyTree) to turn this into a $ making spot #turk
Hi! I just saw your speech from 2019 about Disney fans and you commented on the star tours ride. I agree with you. In fact, I thought they were going to move it into the new land when they announced it. Makes sence. Keep up the good work.
Swiss Family Robinson, that is tied into SEA (via the new show), but subtly enough that the internet can have fun talking about therefore building hype for the attraction and show and the other SEA shows and attractions. “The FUN HAS ARRIVED!” -Terk
as far as Encanto goes, with regard to removing the stump, there is nothing to stop Disney from rebuilding the stump somewhere that isn't in the middle of the path.
Swiss Family....solid IP that is getting a facelift...SEA, waaaaay overdue, and as you said a bit riskier but if done well with a supporting and popular IP on Disney+ it would be the biggest payoff. Was always happy the Tarzan reskin never made it to Orlando as the nostalgia of the original tied the park to my own childhood and my children's experience.
Encanto deserves better than a walkthrough. That movie is the biggest thing Walt Disney studios has done since Frozen. It deserves a dark ride. I'd even say it deserves a section at EPCOT. Also they should add the Encanto figures to the Latin American section of it's a small world like they've added other characters into their respective countries.
Meanwhile, at EuroDisney, we kept the Swiss Family Robinson theme because, fortunately, we're not prone to these silly rethemes that so quickly go out of style (in 5 years no one will give a flying flamingo about Encanto anymore and there goes the timeliness of the retheme...). Disney should stop trying to chase fads. If in 10/20 years Encanto has become a classic, then think about retheming.
But it is kinda hard to decide what will become a classic or just a fad. I mean, everyone thought frozen was just a fad, but kids still go bonkers crazy about it
@@Naharu. Will they? I haven't seen a child go bonkers over Frozen in some years. The overflow of content they get today has made it nearly impossible for any new film to gain statute of classic. Which is why I would avoid trying to retheme rides to the new films.
But it sells merch now. Where else are they going to make an encanto shop? I bet the shop comes where stump was. With a bridge to the roof that is non accesible.
@@___David__ that is going to be disney's noose. Disneys main trade has always been nostalgia, but i dont think many kids now will be nostalgic for disney in 20 or 30 years. At that point all they have is old ip that is far past it's sell by date. The way they are saturating star wars and marvel it will eventually fizzle out, it is just what happens when people are exposed constantly to the same thing, their only in house ip over the last decade that seemed to stick was frozen. One movie isn't going to make people remember disney as a company. Cars is over the top now, the pixar stuff is reaching a couple of decades of age. Disney is going to turn into a perpetual collection of old stale ip driven areas that should have been replaced 5 or so years ago and one or 2 areas that are the hot new thing for a while. The rest will be filled with cheap rethemes to try and keep attractions relevent just that much longer. You can see it happening before your eyes. Sometimes i wonder how these ceo's get their jobs.
I've never actually been in Tarzan's treehouse lol so I guess I won't know what I'm missing when it gets rethemed. I would love to see any of your ideas come to fruition tbh, they all have their own benefits and would be super fun to walk through! I think Encanto deserves a place in the parks, but maybe not the treehouse? I still think it's pretty likely though.
The tarps are down at Tarzan's Treehouse, and many of themed elements from the tree house can still be seen. Maybe they were just getting rid of the big stump in the walkway (which I hated) and returning the entrance to the old way you went into Swiss Family. Perhaps it's just a Tarzan refurb, also explains why it didn't get any mention at D23.
Personally SEA makes the most sense, and would hopefully help add much needed interactive elements to the parks. I think Magic Kingdom isn't revamping it yet with all their backlogged construction. On the topic of SEA, I wish they added more Easter eggs and references in other rides to it. Wishful thinking, but imagine how cool it would be to have an interactive experience in queues for different rides maybe even in different parks all related to SEA. Like you on your phone get to learn more about their secret history and fill out a map or something. Not just with the already cannon SEA rides, expand the lore to other attractions like Expedition Everest or Mission: Space. Probably unlikely, but I can dream lol but RIP Tarzan and Terk
As much as I’d love for either of the 2 second options, WDW’s lack of update isn’t really a big indicator one way or the other. WDW doesn’t spend money to update minor attractions like the Treehouse. They barely maintain the old stuff. They focus their money on whatever one new ride they’re building and count on the severe overhype to get people through the gates. Disneyland has to keep things up to a much better level due to the high percentage of repeat guests.
Disney already announced that we'd be getting more Encanto in the parks. I have a hard time believing that the poorly done projection show on Small World is all they meant. They probably removed the stump to replace it with something looks more Encanto. SFRTH is in the past.. LET IT GO!
With the refurbishment of Splash Mountain into to Princess and the Frog in WDW, they could be Turing the tree house into Mama Odie's tree house from "Dig a Little Deeper"
It’s got to be Encanto. Disney doesn’t care about the purists. They just want to be able to sell merchandise. They can sell a boat load of Encanto merch.
Well when I seize Disney in a hostile takeover, they will. Purists are the only guests who matter and I don't want to sell merchandise. Disney under my rule will make all decisions by asking "What would Walt do?" again.
How far is the treehouse from Jungle Cruise? Because another option would be Trader Sam’s Treehouse. Since In the new movie Trader Sam’s tribe lives in the trees. But since Trader Sam is also an Disney Park Ip it’d appeal to classic Disneyland fans. And they wouldn’t have to change much.
Turk told me that instead of a permanent IPA they are making it to where it can change based on whatever IPA they want to promote at the time then when no promotional IPA is needed it would transition to a Pirate theme encouraging guests to go to Tom Sawyer Island and Pirates Lair. The transition could be done overnight that way since it's mainly sails and signage being swapped out like what they do with Redcreek Challenge when promoting a IPA inside then revert back the day after getting done promoting the IPA.
I must admit that I have not seen the Jungle Cruise flick, but… Wasn’t there some sort of “mystical tree” as the focus of it? (Wouldn’t it make some kind of sense to turn that treehouse into such an experience, especially as it’s adjacent to the ride/show, it was inspired by?) Hmm…?
S.E.A would be really cool. As I no longer live in Florida and am closer to Disneyland, I am kind of hoping you're right about a return to the original. It was always great.
My theory which could possibly happen is an Orange bird theme, they have been bringing his merch into Disneyland as well as Disney World for awhile now, plus in the cartoons Orange bird lived in a treehouse. I just thought of it the other day and I can’t get it out of my head
Dallyn, Great educated guesses! I would love to see Disney turn the treehouse into a restaurant or cafe inspired by Tiana's Bistro in Princess and the 🐸. She not only deserves an attraction, but also a restaurant if space allows. It's an out of left field idea, but I'm sure Disney can make it work
@@Daddywiseclussy in the concept artbook that's available online for free, it talks about her room and how it was supposed to be filled with all the expectations she wishes to fulfill for her family and a secret door in the back that would lead to her carefree amusement park. Those themes are seen in her song in the final film. But I guess her room doesn't have cardio as she needs casita's assistance. Her buff size has nothing to do with her gift, it's her insecurities trying to build the muscle as her back up if her gift doesn't work out for her like the trauma she experienced of losing tio Bruno and what that did to the family. I love Encanto for the amount of visual storytelling it portrays by tackling intergenerational trauma and how that can manifest in a character. Antonio was terrified he wouldn't get a gift like how Mirabel doesn't have a gift* I still think the film would have been better if Mirabel didn't have her glasses in the beginning and needed them for the walk to her door making abuela lose confidence in her triggering the rest of the events in the film. That simple act is all an insecure person, who favours perfection (Isabella), needs to label an individual as a black sheep. If Encanto gets a full musical stage version that scene will definitely be added in. It's almost like a Broadway cadence. Back to the Encanto concepts, the original bruno parkour chase that ends in Antonio's room was going to be going through doors of different rooms. Julietta+Augustin's room apparently looks like yzma's lab with all these different healing potions. What a great chance to make an emperor's new groove reference. Disney has so much opportunity here. Heck they could even do a meet and greet and call everyone Camilo 🤣😂🤣
@@mcwjes you'll appreciate this as much as I did then. In No se hablas de bruno. Delores has slightly different lyrics that insinuate that she's frustrated she can hear everyone but she can't *understand* Bruno's prophecies. She's Mirabel's favourite cousin because she's so compassionate. That being said, Adassa has gone above and beyond to bring Delores to life by finding fan made songs and singing them Turn it down Camilo's interlude Both fantastic songs that I hope are bought by Disney to be added to a full musical version. If you haven't yet heard the Doja cat woman x we don't talk about Bruno remix it turns the heat up to Columbian. (It even exists in the Spanish version too, I love this fandom so much)
When was the last time Disney did anything with Tarzan in advertising, merchandising or anything? Wasn't it inevitable that the attraction was being replaced?
Yeah! Bring back the original Tree House. You’re correct I bet (I do have an Imagineer buddy who sometimes talks too much… lol!). Great idea. Encanto would be fine. Tearing it down for the Pirates queue would be horrible, it’s part of Walt’s original vision. If it could tie-in to the Disney+ show, it’s Win/Win going back to the original. Love your videos Darin!
I'd love for it to be SEA Swiss makes the most sense to me, and Encanto makes a bit of sense, but not in a way which I see being done, bu SEA as you said, blends together the two lands, connects stuff together, could be very cool Although, what if the new Swiss will connect with SEA anyway? Interesting thoughts...
S.E.A would be a great theme for the tree house. Tying more Disney lore together. Super cool. I’d welcome Swiss Family Robinson because like you said, it would be great for the old and new Disneyland fans. I’ve also heard people being interested in a Jungle Book theme for the tree house. That would be cool to because it’s right there at the end of Adventureland. But I think another cool idea would be, and this is a long shot, because the tree is right next to Pirates. I think it be interesting to give the treehouse a Peter Pan theme. Like turning it into Hangman’s tree. Again a long shot, but it be cool. Also yes, I’m on board with an Emperors New Groove theme lol.
I am absolutely on board with the S.E.A. idea for the treehouse, although as a Disney park purist myself, I would love to see SFR make a return to Disneyland. Either way, it’s gonna be sad to see Turk go.
The parks care about nothing except to sell merch. They are malls with some rides. So when you hypothesize what could come, it really comes down to what can they throw in the area with a new/redone attraction... it's probably whatever the hot IP is to sell that merch. Bobby C said he views Encanto as a franchise, they see the $ for the merch, that is most likely what is coming.
You never know, man. If Disney can set Splash Mountain in the well-known Mountain ranges of New Orleans, they could have an Atlantis Treehouse. Don’t put anything past this company at this point.
Splash Mountain isn't getting changed though, it's been silently cancelled. Any talk about it is just PR fluff because they're too chicken to make a public announcement.
So trading iconic and historically known TARZAN for a representation movie that most didn't like yet got to #1. Why does this generation like to cancel so much of the past? The treehouse was doing just fine as it was and Tarzan is CURRENT and not passed on like other characters or movies. Here we go again of writing over what has been a stable in Disney and society growing up and current to being replaced by this generation or "narratives". If they want Encanto to have a ride, make a different ride for it. Reminds me of Captain Marvel with its barely 40% audience score. Terribleeee reviews, sales showed way below expectations then suddenly sales through the roof. That was when Disney came in and bought up theaters ( just ask Cinemark in Anaheim, barely filled theaters then sold out with barely anyone in them) From reddit to many other forums and content discussions, most didn't like Encanto, from woke to it not making sense. It was about representation yet again. Again, this is what I've read, my opinion and if someone doesn't agree with it , oh well. But what happens when i don't agree with their opinion? Nothing. 1st amendment right all for it. ( current Disney is NOT the Disney i grew up with and lucky to live and experience untouched Disneyland at the time. They have ruined so much with rides and pushing narratives, we wont talk about he scandals at all)
So I was TERKing with a friend about your channel, a week ago on TERKday. I told him I never watch your videos to the very end, so I never know the secret word. He said I was being a TERK for not watching to the end. I responded, I just don't have the time, as I am watching the videos while at TERK, and I don't want to get caught by the boss. PS: Thanks for the update on Tarzan's Treehouse.
Lin Manuel Miranda wants an attraction before he starts on a sequel. This might be their way of making him an attraction so they can have another movie. IDK
I seriously doubt an Encanto retheme, the movie only came out at the end of last year and a full-on retheme would need a much longer planning period for them to do it any justice. Plus SFR and SEA make a lot more sense from a longevity standpoint!
I feel like they were gonna do Encanto, but then it got SO popular they now want to give it it's own proper ride - which would explain why it's taking so long, because now they gotta change it back to sfr
A S.E.A. tree house is a genius idea. Fantastic idea Dahlin. Id prefer Swiss Family DOESNT come just so we can have different tree houses on each coast. My ideal themes would be: 1) S.E.A. 2) Encanto 3) Revert to Tarzan 4) Swiss Family Robinson

I grew up with going to the Magic Kingdom and I often visited the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, and the company I was with on my two trips to Disneyland weren't interested in doing Tarzan's Treehouse. I think this is unfair since people who are local to SoCal and visiting alike got no warning and now I worry if anything closes for any reason at all, it be gone for good. I'm curious to see what we will get going forward, but I regret not doing this when I had the chance and I'll never forget what could've been........
@@HeavyMProductions I went to paint Venice on Tintoretto's birthday . . had to forgo viewing masterworks open to the public for a limited time, unseen by most for generations [thought about them the whole time though]. A lot of YT uploader's did excellent walkthroughs of TTH . . be sure to look for them.
@@clockworkvox9210 Who cares about the average guest? Purists want Swiss Family Robinson and purists are the only guests who matter.
@@stanfordite1 lmao imagine
@@clockworkvox9210 right, because it’s a virtual ghost town in Florida, right?
@@stanfordite1 The purists are hilarious....Especially the imbecile ones who LMFAO actually buy into that "Uncle Walt" image that Walt Disney displayed to the public...The same "Uncle" Walt who said that Disneyland would never be finished and should never stay the same..SO if it were up to "Uncle" Walt every single ride in that park would have probably been removed and changed 10 times over by now.
Watch it get turned into “Olaf’s Summer Treehouse”
Nooooooooo!!!!
My ultimate theory:
They’re going to give the treehouse to a opossum. That way, I can officially say that there’s a Possum up a gum tree.
I would I've to explore Mama Odie's house. That would be so cool.
Who knows!
Well exposited!
Your 1020’s/30’s Transatlantic accent was awesome! Thank-you for making wonderful videos, and for all your hard work!
Encanto doesn’t make sense to me, any attraction themed to Encanto would need the Casita. Everything in the movie takes place in or around the Casita. Having Antonio’s tree house room without the Casita completely removes context.
@Joshua Munn Disney tends to wait a few years before committing to permanent IP in the park.
@Joshua Munn nope, it was just a normal Sunday. Rey was getting swamped as was Boba Fett.
I was there behind the barrier watching Walt and the ostrich run around with the actors from the movie, like it was yesterday.....
I LOVE going back and watching these old videos to see how the plans played out. So funny how exactly right you were!
SEA was my first thought. It just ties so neatly into adventure land.
Chip and Dale had a treehouse in Toon Town that I believe is being torn down as part of the refurb, I’m not sure they would redo it in Adventureland.
I'd like to see it go back to the original, but if not, how about a Muppet theme?
Not a lot of people are saying this, but I'll say it.
It could be re-themed to Avatar.
With the new films coming out, Disney's got to promote it somehow within Disneyland. They could simply explain that the tree is a Pandoran tree, and have bioluminescent effects higher up in the walk-through.
I'm ok with any of those skins you mentioned. My favorite would be the Swiss Family Robinson as that is what is was when I was a kid. Turk.
WDW regulars constantly complain how DLR gets all the best stuff! Grass is always greener 😁
I’m going to miss seeing Terk in the treehouse, but I’m excited for something new! 😁
I miss seeing Terk at DAK. She used to have a larger presence in that park.
It deserves a place in animal kingdom! It’s all about flowers and animals
At 6:47, John Mills looks like he's about to sing about the Green Dragon.
10:40 wait he's not saying...? Oh yeah, yeah he is.
I always thought it would be great to put some cast members in the tree to interact with guests so it doesn't feel like it was abandoned.
I kinda really want those pretty treehouses that were in Jungle Cruise & SEA
Honestly I'm gonna miss Tarzan's. RIP Turk
I want every single attraction to get SEA theming eventually, even the fantasyland and Main Street stuff.
Aw, I miss Turk! My favorite part of the Tarzan Treehouse was doing my own version of Trashin' the Camp at the end!
I hope the Robinson's get their house back. I'm sure they'll let Turk visit.
If they return to the Swiss Family Robinson theme, I wonder if they will include some
“Turk”ish teacups in the eating area display? 😎
The Black Hole: The Tree House
(Seriously though, my fingers are crossed for a return to Swiss Family.)
I want the Emperor’s New Groove, or something brand new. I’d be okay with scrapping the tree idea entirely. Let’s do something new.
Give Donald the Tree House and make him a member of the SEA!
You my friend Offhand Disney....are a Turk-ish delight to watch when your videos drop! Keep it up man you make it look easy and fun.
As Terk would say: “What kind of primitive beasts are responsible for this mess?”
Oh! My goodness! You could totally be right!
8:44 I couldn't agree with you more. Which is exactly why Disney will not do this
S.E.A would be really cool. As I no longer live in Florida and am closer to Disneyland, I am kind of hoping you're right about a return to the original. It was always great.
Emperors new groove deserves its own entire E ticket attraction.
My theory which could possibly happen is an Orange bird theme, they have been bringing his merch into Disneyland as well as Disney World for awhile now, plus in the cartoons Orange bird lived in a treehouse. I just thought of it the other day and I can’t get it out of my head
Also Turk lol
Dallyn, Great educated guesses! I would love to see Disney turn the treehouse into a restaurant or cafe inspired by Tiana's Bistro in Princess and the 🐸. She not only deserves an attraction, but also a restaurant if space allows. It's an out of left field idea, but I'm sure Disney can make it work
By Terk, we should have an SEA tree house. Having said that, my second choice would be the SFR Tree house.
Well, that was all clear as mud.
I am legit hoping for Swiss Family Robinson. But I'm expecting Encanto. I'd love it if Disney surprised us.
I was thinking they could revive the Swiss Robinson IP on disney+, and then as soon as you said it, it made perfect sense
I want a Phineas and Ferb tree house. That would be amazing. Not exactly adventure land themed, but I would love it. Thanks for the video!
It's the Swiss Antonio SEA treehouse extravaganza!!!! Now, let's find Terk a new home
Well Luisa's room is supposed to have a secret door to Disneyland, so maybe Antonio and Luisa share a secret access to the parks
Supposedly how?
Antonio was terrified he wouldn't get a gift like how Mirabel doesn't have a gift*
I still think the film would have been better if Mirabel didn't have her glasses in the beginning and needed them for the walk to her door making abuela lose confidence in her triggering the rest of the events in the film.
@@L3onking I love this and I love that you know encanto so well!
That being said, Adassa has gone above and beyond to bring Delores to life by finding fan made songs and singing them
Turn it down
Camilo's interlude
Both fantastic songs that I hope are bought by Disney to be added to a full musical version.
I'd love for it to be SEA
Swiss makes the most sense to me, and Encanto makes a bit of sense, but not in a way which I see being done, bu SEA as you said, blends together the two lands, connects stuff together, could be very cool
Although, what if the new Swiss will connect with SEA anyway?
Either way, it’s gonna be sad to see Turk go.
an SEA themed treehouse would be absolutely amazing
The parks care about nothing except to sell merch. They are malls with some rides. So when you hypothesize what could come, it really comes down to what can they throw in the area with a new/redone attraction... it's probably whatever the hot IP is to sell that merch. Bobby C said he views Encanto as a franchise, they see the $ for the merch, that is most likely what is coming.
That last possibility… It’s the main rumor now. 😳
You never know, man. If Disney can set Splash Mountain in the well-known Mountain ranges of New Orleans, they could have an Atlantis Treehouse. Don’t put anything past this company at this point.
I mean, patf was a flop at the box office yet its getting a ride, so
Splash Mountain isn't getting changed though, it's been silently cancelled.
They have ruined so much with rides and pushing narratives, we wont talk about he scandals at all)
I'm going for the first time next month and I'm sad it's gone. I wanted to ride all the exclusive DL rides
IDK
If Kuzco got his own tree house it would have to be complete with a water slide.
There is plenty of room to relocate the stump on the Indiana side of the treehouse, so that it isn’t in the way of foot traffic.
Also, SEA please! I absolutely love that idea!
they're also currently refurbing the swiss family robinson tree back in dlp, kind of hope it stays the same
I seriously doubt an Encanto retheme, the movie only came out at the end of last year and a full-on retheme would need a much longer planning period for them to do it any justice. Plus SFR and SEA make a lot more sense from a longevity standpoint!
I feel like they were gonna do Encanto, but then it got SO popular they now want to give it it's own proper ride - which would explain why it's taking so long, because now they gotta change it back to sfr
Well Disney's use of Tarzan is fairly limited, as Edgar Rice Burroughs' estate owns the character.
A S.E.A. tree house is a genius idea. Fantastic idea Dahlin. Id prefer Swiss Family DOESNT come just so we can have different tree houses on each coast.
My ideal themes would be:
1) S.E.A.
2) Encanto
3) Revert to Tarzan
4) Swiss Family Robinson
I went to WDW when I was about 12 and I still have a picture of me giving Turk the biggest bear hug... gorilla hug?
I definitely don’t remember Tarzan enough to incorporate Turk, but I’m definitely claiming the universal magic candle company fact as directly inspired by my tweet
I would love any upgrades to tree. But I will miss Tarzan and Turk from when my kids were little and love seeing the tree.
