BONUS GAME FOR THE DEDICATED VIEWER: I'm guessing not many of you have noticed this, but I sometimes put extremely lame dad puns in the videos. Usually there's a connection between a song and something that happens in the video. Imagine as if the song "Jump" was playing just as I did a dyno, that sort of stuff. In this episode there's two of them. One of them was described as "far fetched" by Cordi, but the other seemed to have landed well according to her. Good luck finding them!
Being a heavy climber (currently 88 kg, down from 100 earlier this year) I’ve had a lot of pulley strains. I don’t even climb hard, I just have some bad habits. Always annoying when they happen either way. Take care of your fingers, and thanks for the awesome video! Loving all of this content and excited to get more of it once you’re on the road.
I like watching videos that are the length of what you're happy to post and when, I think having a happier content creator that doesn't pressure themselves too much leads to better content, which I'm personally happy to wait for! Nice send and found it hilarious that the leaf stayed in your hair for so long!!
I prefer videos between 10 and 20 minutes, because it fits well with a break, but I will watch whatever length you make the videos in. If they are very long, as when Magnus makes 1 hour videos, I just watch it in steps.
Nice one with Dark Adaption...I think the jump to the rail looks even nicer than holding the swing on those crimps! For your next trip i highly recommend you "The great Dane" and "Hövding" (bring some pads here+ rope). Both waiting for your first repeat!!
@@TheXeeman From my parents to where I'm studying, it's usually around 9 hours on a train, but I managed a little quicker yesterday, it was som 7,5 thanks to a new train which means I only travel by two trains instead of three and there were no delays.
@@TheXeeman jesus christ no. It's like once every two weeks or a month to my parents and than back. I've done a round trip in two days a few times and it was soulsuckingly boring.
yess, all that outdoor content is awesome, great boulders and great vids! And knowing there is much more to come on yourope..! Sorry eutube :) About the length, i think anything between 10 and 30 min is fine. Keep it up buddy!
Just curious. Why do you brush the holds with chalk? Looks like you dip the brush into your chalk bag and then brush the holds. Is it to help with rain/moss and stuff? Absolutely mad boulders also
Theres a fairly specific sweet spot of chalk/no chalk that I want on the holds. In this video I was brushing a bit more than usual though. The heavy wind caused some small drops of water to land on the holds, so I brushed those dry :-)
It's not about length but quality 😂😈 Great sends on both boulders. Are we going to hear about the bear and the tree ? Good job filming Cordelia no movement inducing nausea 👍👊 Wild boar ? PS. Bears climb trees 😁
what an episode, as always! (: will you give out when you are where so it'd be able to see you crush some boulders in real live or you wanna keep it private? (: really psyched for the tripp and all future episodes 🙏🏼😊
injuries suck.. and are weird sometimes.. Last week, i trained at home, doing some push ups and stuff.. 3 hours after the workout, i was just chilling, and had suddenly a super strong pain in my left chest.. i was worried it was an heart attack and went to the hospital. turns out my chest muscle tore a muscle fibre while i was just relaxing(?).. long story short: no climbing for me.. xD

Awesome! I used to do something like this all the time in my essays in high school and college, by embedding song lyrics into the writing. :D
At 9:00 u say if I land it perfectly, it's gonna look like a 6a move and then the music goes: making it look easy!?
Really not sure with this one. At 2:06 u say injuries are no fun and then the music goes aaaaahh
Awesome vid Emil! «Don’t drop it» at 9:21 has to be one of them, and then maybe showtime at the Apollo at the very beginning with the Houdini match?
10:35, "make it look easy" when you're sending?
Awesome send! So rewarding to see you hold that swing.
The face at 11:18 is legendary.
Felt rewarding as well! And desperate..
Whatever video length fits the story is nice. Hella hyped for more sick boulders!
Loving all the outdoor content lately - super psyched for the roadtrip videos and sends!!
Dude, agreed! Outdoor content is KING!

Can’t wait to see your vlogs of the trip man!! Really excited for both of you!

Loving the outdoor content! Really looking forward to more :)
Time flies just as fast as you up a boulder when I watch these vids. Just keep sending those positive vibes and it doesn't really matter how long!

Such a cool send, congratz man ! Also thanks Cordi for zooming on the holds, was nice to see :)
Just, wow. I’m blown away by this climb.
Amazing & Inspiring! Thanks!
That last boulder was super sick!!! Really looking forward to the videos of the trip.
anyone else notice that leaf that is just chilling in his hair...
Nice of Cordelia to leave it all video 😁
Excited to see your back on the big island, it’s goin down next sesh!
Great to see climbing outside.
So psyched for the trip! It's gonna be sick
Awesome send Emil!
The enthusiam is so motivating!!!! I hope it doesn't rain all winter :/
Those are some good faces Emil. Love the try-hard moments
Very impressive, man. Really great.
Awesome!!
You should visit kjugekull on your way to the rest of Europe (it's in Skåne). It has a lot of boulders in the 7c-8a range in a very dense area.
Done a finger switch move some weeks ago on a narrow 1 finger pocket. Unexpected fun!
Awesome send. I would love to see you try and send a 9a outdoors!!!
Been sitting on a train for almost 6 hours. Thank you for the content Emil, it's exceptional!
Cheers mate, I appreciate it :-)
6 hours?! where are you going

@@hashiramasenju5001 woah.. is that a 5 times a week thing?

While you're on your trip might be a good time to do a video about warming up outdoors! Not just for our sakes but also for yours 😉
yess, all that outdoor content is awesome, great boulders and great vids! And knowing there is much more to come on yourope..! Sorry eutube :) About the length, i think anything between 10 and 30 min is fine. Keep it up buddy!
Great video
Second boulder was absolutely amazing
Off the wagon !
Please
Do it !
You should try Souvenir, a 8a in Choronico! Would be cool to see!!
Such a sick video!
The shirt returns !

Is it easier to do the Houdini match than just piano match?
Great send ! slo mo looks like you're trying not to let the magic genie out your lungs xD
Hey Emil, I was hoping you could tell us what size you wear in the Drone HV's compared to size in the Instinct VSR's?
Cheers!
keep it up dude! If you plan on going to Kjugekull on the trip i would be glad to show you around
It's not about length but quality 😂😈
Great sends on both boulders.
Are we going to hear about the bear and the tree ? Good job filming Cordelia no movement inducing nausea 👍👊
Wild boar ?
PS. Bears climb trees 😁
Fits half hr lunch break and time to comment.
Haha probably someday!
We actually used a latter to climb on top of a high boulder, safe from the roars
Super strong dude!
Honesrly enjoy the longer videos the most! But whatever fits the narrative of the video I guess
0 dislikes! That says you're doing something right
Around 15 mins for me :)
Also these boulders were sick man
Actually, Magnus Midtboe did this move after the crux of "Jungle Speed". On a big jug though. Crazy to do it on a small crimp.
Excelent closeup of the crimp (~9:42)! Kudos to the camerawoman 🙂
Watching this while in school🙃. There aint no better wat to pass time!
Sick climbs, especially that second one. What shoes were you wearing in this video?
The mad rock drones. Baaanger shoe
Longer the better then I don't have to look for another video to watch as soon lol
Boulder looks mint 👀
what an episode, as always! (:
will you give out when you are where so it'd be able to see you crush some boulders in real live or you wanna keep it private? (:
really psyched for the tripp and all future episodes 🙏🏼😊
your content is so good that I wouldnt mind 60 min episodes lol
i checked out birdman this year and found the houdini match way harder than piano playing match 😅
but nice one! 🤙
🔥
I dont mind longer videos, it doesnt have to have climbing, just vlogging or something while approaching boulders, etc.
hmmm I want more on the bear scare! You should bring your brothers dog to scare of bears and hogs! ;p
You should both come in Sassofortino (a real magic forest). Il posto è fantastico ed é in Toscana ; )
You have to try boulder called King Kong in Bor. It is 7C, there is also the move which looks like this
farewell leaf 5:22
This trip is the best material to watch since.... ever👌
beast
so damn impressive man
Personally I like the shorter video's, but you do you man!
sick video dude :)
siiiick
10 mins is nice

Gawd damn, that just sounds ridiculously unfortunate. Hope you heal up quickly mate!
Not sure that's goanna look like a 6a move no matter how well you do it Emil, hahaha
Haha in retrospect i guess it was just wishful thinking
2h
Try hard face on the slow mo :)
First 😅
Legeeeeendddddaaaarryyyy
