This motorcycle is most likely put together with spares from different places, and the pop-riveted badges came from a flea market. Sure it is old, but not necessarily pre-war. ID numbers can be faked. We have heard and seen similar stories a thousand times before. Btw, does the bike run? Make it run and use it, it´s a lovely motorcycle anyways.
@@zebulon9307 you can contact BMW archive,with your engine and frame number,and if you lucky they still have survived documents from this period from BMW factory,they will tell you what exactly you owned, that's is the right way to know what you have ....
