If you have this fault on the dashboard and the car go on limp mode , now you know what is the issue, just replace the part or recondition and happy driving again

I have exactly that problem on a '93 Sovereign where the driver's exterior door handle moved through its whole range without engaging the door release mechanism. Has been working/not working for a while but is now consitently not working. Your fix looks very promising. I'll be trying it come daylight.

It is a Chevy bolt pattern, so you are probably right. The car dealer probably sold the valuable original wheels when they resprayed it that horrible blue, after an accident? That is not a Jaguar colour.

I worked as an aprentice at nottingham dealers when these came out we had so much trouble with them burning holes in pistons untill it was sorted simple a different grade of spark plug

Hi I bought it a year, I was the one that must have pipped you to the post Original engine and box, engine smooth as silk, apart from couple of arches and fluffy bits needing welding, yhe car is relatively solid, i dont like the colour lol, will have to change it next year
Colour is very vintage and looking good ,if you changed the car it will lose originality,but Yee this your car is your choice..is good car I love it
How much did you sell it for we drove all the way from Suffolk to Edinburgh in an pajero we giv hundred quid for lol it didn't miss a beat . I payed 5000 for car the only thing that got me there is that it was manual gearbox
