I have that exact craftsman impact wrench and was ready to throw it away, but decided to do some research and came across your video. I took it apart following your instructions and wow, mines had the exact same issue, the two screws loose and the ground wire broken off. Fix it like you did and I'm back in business. Sir, thank you very much because you save me from spending $250.00.

I'm wondering if it would be worth the effort to disassemble it and add Loctite to the affected screws as a preventative. Two questions: 1. What color Loctite did you use? 2. How much use did your impact wrench have before this problem happened?

Since this is a common problem why use locktite ima use jb weld epoxy.
