That's awesome! I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 I have 325,000 When I start the engine when it's cold it sounds like a diesel but when it's warmed up the ticking noise goes away.
Hey Dale! Looks like the fuel line into the rail has been worked on, mine had a crack and we clamped it down and seems to have been okay for a while but again smell gas and saw it drip/leak from below, ideas or thoughts on what to do? It’s a ‘92 4L Laredo. I just found a return/vapor line with Hose. Thanks!
Hi, I went through your videos trying to find something that best fits what I’m looking for. Did not find nothing. I have a 2016 Jeep grand Cherokee I have had two thermostats and a water pump put in from a garage. It will only fix the problem for a couple of months then it will run hot again. Any suggestions? Do you have a video that would help or illuminate this problem Any help would greatly be appreciated I subscribed because you describe to where I can understand it thanks
Hi Dale, I was wondering (since it's so hard to find an original ignition swith where I live) is there a way to turn of the key code in the Jeep? (it's a TJ) I bought an after market key switch which works great but when I start, it runs for 2 seconds and turns off because the new keys don't have the original code. They are not programmable, it's just a set of keys. Now I have to start the Jeep while holding the original key against the lock. Is there a way to your knowledge to turn this code confirmation off in the Jeep itself? By the way, best wishes for you and your loved ones for 2025.
Cold start be problematic with the fuel system there is a trick that works with this system Turn the key on do not start then turn off then back on this pressers the fuel system up the problem is that there is a VERY small leak in the Fuel line some where ( the Fuel is leaking back down the line ) after watching this and having this problem before one could find it but it is not leaking to the point that one might not see it just know it is there and watch for it thank you for the Videos and Stay Safe
The rough start could just be due to the fact that the ECU is learning how to manage this new engine. It takes about 50 start/stop cycles before the computer settles down and everything runs smoothly.
Hello dale! Let’s do this!! She’s going to run like a champ!
Hello everyone! Great to see you all tuned in!
Thank you! Was a great project

I think it's normal...
I’ll do a little more poking around to make sure all is good. But sure sounds great when it runs!
Woe she is running great!!!
Thanks!
Sounds great 👍🏽 🎉
Great job
Thank you!

Thank you. I’ll check for leak down on it as well

I didn’t really change much and it started running better and better. Sounds great now. Could be the issue I was having
What happened to the 4.0 rebuild videos? I swear you had way more but now I don't see them on your channel
They should all be listed in a playlist 👍
