I loved this type of thing as a kid, mainly due to the fact that not only they did it, but a lot of old Pixar movie’s did this as well like A Bug’s Life and Monster’s Inc. Showing the character’s act like their personalities on screen than having Waluigi say “Sorry” makes their characters more genuine, I love it.

I noticed that they made a change to the intro in the wii version of the game. The intro in the gamecube version was in 4:3, whereas the intro in the wii version is in 16:9. And not 4:3 stretched to fit 16:9, actual 16:9.
