- In this comprehensive video, I have shared my long term (1 year) experience about K&N Performance Product (KN RR 3003) complete with installation to experience to maintenance and also the negatives.
Also, I have tried to explain filtration basics, and how K&N makes a difference.
I am using K&N in other cars since 15 years, and I have shared my very long experience with them too. How that 15 year experience gave me the confidence to put performance intake in i20 Diesel.
Please note that since i20's 1.4 Liter engine is also shared with CRETA, VENUE & VERNA (DIESEL) so this review also stands equally good and useful for those cars.

I have a few questions if you dont kind answering, 1.Which model of k&n conical air filter should i use for Verna 2013 fluidic model? 2.Also if it rains will it affect the car with this k&n system since it’s exposed? 3.And lastly if i put a stage 1 filter will i get the same results power wise and sound wise as this stage 2 filter?

1) PV=nRT ideal gas equation hai, according to equation volume is directly proportional to temperature i.e temp rise hone pe volume bhi badega ( at contant pressure)
2) engine ke life ma fark padta hai it is less effective compared to paper filters. It allows small amount dust to enter as it allows more air to pass

Sir, i have i20 asta 2017 petrol ...Car is very slow while overtaking, what I can do to improve performance without loosing mileage...? Already it has poor mileage....If I replace air filter by ken ...Then can I feel noticeable difference or not....Or it will be very little difference....Also on TH-cam i searched about installing turbo...But not so much information...Only they say that I have to use very small turbo and will improve performance very little...Plz guide what to do ... Question#1: I noticed that you have RR-3003 working on turbocharged diesel engines. This is what I intend to do for my verna fluidic 1.6 but I heard from a vendor that this model is incompatible with turbocharged engines. Would appreciate your experience. Question#2: Have you been able to find the difference between RR-1001 and RR-3003? Both models seem to have an inside reversed cone but there's a significant price difference.

I still have our 96 Zen too!! I have done nothing much on it. I guess you can try changing the air filter and adding a nice engine oil, putting on iridium plugs.

JASPAL SINGH sir oily dust aati hai jab filter recharge kare. Otherwise nahi. MAF sensor cleaner se saaf kar lein. MAF sensor cleaning pe video aane wala hai.

Sir har bande k apne experiences hain. Aapne 10 saal pehle try kiya, mei 15 + 10 + 1 = 26 saal se use kar raha hu. Meri koi shop nahi hai K&N ki. Apne experience se jo pata chala hai wohi bata raha hu.
I have good experience with K&N. I have driven U2 Diesel in stock filter for 2 years. And I can vouch for myself that yes it’s good. Rest there are plus and minus both. Nothing is perfect
I got bmc conical filter installed with a stage 1 tune in my vw polo tdi. Amazing results

Isme oil charge hone ki vajah se yeh air mass flow sensor par dust long time stick ho jati hai aur same way its not sense the air well
Aur car ki pick up poor ho jati hai my personal experience! Aur air mass flow sensor clean karna padta hai,

Jab charge karte hain to sensor clean karna hota hai. I’ve made a video on that already. Ek baar excess hatne ke baad no problem.
Pickup doesn’t goes down. It goes up. I have 4 vehicles in which there is this. Personal experience since 2007.
@@pulkitkumara yes I know as well as I also cleans intercooler after 15000km u should use also oil additive the polytron metal treatment conertate 10% of total value of oil and c difference

Its a good idea to upgrade the air intake. But drive the car with stock air filter for a while so that you can have a feel of how stock behaves. Warranty won't be void as it is an add on, without any modification. Plus you can always restore to original in 5 mins.

The sales representative said the new 2020 i20 will release in August end or September 1st week. I sold my previous polo vehicle and went for i20 diesel cause of more value for money,features and less maintenance compared to Volkswagen cars.

All same! Cold air will help but its not soooo big engine that will create too much of heat so RR 3003 will do!

But don't we think, the air intake will be free flowing. but filtaration capacity is not at per like stock??? At any given time, most of the dust particles will be penetrated into intake via MAF->TURBO->INTERCOOLER???
My logic is no resistance also means low filtaration. But not sure in this case the negative effect is t what extent.

It does. However I haven’t seen even once that rain water would enter. All that you need to take care of is water should not enter while cleaning. Like how I did.
I made a jugad - took a 6 inch pipe and this fits in beautifully and using a 90 degree bend you can change the direction to downside. The sound gets muffled.

Wow really best explained about the engine please do a similar video on i20 petrol and please say are there any chance of increasing the milage of elite i20 petrol naturally aspirated engines🙏🥺 by adding this 1st stage filter . Please do reply 🙏 iam keep on complaining about the milage in showroom but they said they do some tuning will that be working due to lockdown they postponed that process. And yeah i go in very economy and well i had a good driving experience although i tried in all possible ways the milage is 10 or 11max in city🤦🏻♂️.

mai ne liya ek stock k&n air filter lekin suna hai usse dhul mitti vi zada andar jata hai oem air filter se kahi zada
Shayad ulta keh rahe hain aap janaab. Meri 2 cars jinka K&N lage 14 saal approx ho chuke hain, unka intake manifold khula tha. Technician dekh ke hairan tha ki itna saaf kaise ho sakta hai, keval isliye kyunki filter oil based tha.

Manoj Ji, RR3003 is the undisputed king. But the 1.2 or 1.0 engine can not make full use of it, so even 4950 (K&N) is also good enough. You can click on description link and then BUY FROM US link...
