64KiB is a lot.
We all need to celebrate when he gets to 80486 :P
@@LordDragox412 someone once said that it was all we need.
@@Dan.R.A Nah, they said that about kilobytes. Kibibytes don't get the love they deserve :(
@@LordDragox412 oh, my mistake then. I agree my friend
Fastest memtest in history
FYI: If you look at the timer, you can tell it is sped up.
I was there. When having a 200 MHz Pentium made one a god among users.
Unless you overclocked it to 266, 275 or 300 by fiddling with the motherboard jumpers, no you weren't. xD
I had a first gen Pentium 133 MHz as well back then. Good times.
@@Dan.R.A 486 DX here with 100mhz. Good times.
i bought pentium333 a year and a half ago. 64mb ram 2gb hdd sounblaster and crt and a mechanical keyboard also
This. And when suddenly Pentium 2 was the new super thing and suddenly you had to have an "acceleration" card and "omfg Quake 2 graphics are totally different with this card!"
Something about this tickles at the nostalgia of my young childhood in the 90s - not just the tech, but the musical style. My parents and their close friends unwinding on the weekend; kicking back cold ones, bantering, 80s metal on the stereo; messing around with the computer one of them just bought secondhand, trying to get the AOL connection to work; going long into the night, tucking us kids into bed while the bass strings of Orion lulled us to sleep through the walls.
A cozy, intimate island tucked away from society - before the time when smartphones and the internet would claw their way into every waking moment of our lives....
Yes. All of this.
The 486DX is evolving indeed, now it can physically play guitar

PRAISE THE CODE
This track feels like what it did when the Gigahertz barrier got broken in the early aughts. In the infamous words of the Emperor. UNLIMITED POWER!
YES! Electronic Metal Is making Its Way Into My Brain 😎🤘🎸

LETS GO!
Over the years of listening to these musical works, I am vehemently convinced that in "Pattern" and in combination with something else, there is, as always, some kind of message. But I am not smart enough to understand what exactly is said there.
Nevertheless, "PRAISE THE CODE".
P.S. Glory to the Omnissiah.
The music is the message. For it is one of the codes within the fabric of reality.
PLZ tell me how you managed to adress more than 4GiB with a 32 bit adress bus - pure magic like this track 🤘
Its created with a VM and had to use 8gb to make it long enough. I should have edited it to kb tho for accuracy lol
holy fuck this is my new favorite mbr song holy fucking shit what the fuck that was amazing

Isn't MBR an old channel of Keygen Church?
Or I'm an idiot?
Praise the -coin- code!
MBR is their main channel. KC is a side proyect
@@BennickBlue I got. Thank you!
Well, I always thinked, that MBR is their old channel/name.
8GB of RAM on a 200Mhz CPU?
I was wondering the same thing, but it is a song entitled RAM.
Had to force the accuracy of it cause with 8MB it would be too fast and wouldnt produce a long enough video. I should have edited it to kb tho.
LETSSSS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOO
Can I haz some US east coast dates.
L1 slower than L2? 4 cores? 8GB RAM?!
THE COOOOOOOOODEEEEE!!!! THE CODE PEICE IS REAL!!!
SO GOOD; SPREAD THE CODE

is this guitar? or is it very clever synths? some of master boot records tracks seemed to be completely synthetic, this seems to be a hybrid? anyone know his recording/writing process?
Yes we added a real guitars that goes in sync with the synths.
ahah 8 GB on a Pentium x86 :)
Not to mention the four cores :P
The power of MBR's miracles. Pray, and you too shall transcend your technological limits one day.
Had to force the hand or the video would run for 3 seconds lol
Is this a fake Memtest86 screen, or a binary executable with edited strings and patched functions?
I remember an eternity ago, when I worked at computer store, I had to edit strings of a dumped BIOS. It was dumped from Slot 1 motherboard and changes were to make this motherboard to correctly report CPU model in BIOS and during POST. Fun times.
Now I have to check if first version of Memtest86 has this behavior on modern hardware.
Its a real one via VM but had to edit some parts to make it work
Being familiar with MemTest86 and MemTest64, this screen was already surprising and nostalgic enough, but seeing that it is running on Pentium is even better! Amazing track, amazing visuals LMAO
Today's a good day for MBR enjoyers.
yessir
Wait, first Pentium with 8gigs of RAM? :o
For this, let the channel delete 🙄💅
and 4 cores 🤣
Pretty wild hobbyist home server.

babe, wake up, mbr just posted a new soundtrack
Don't worry, she's already awake. Ain't no one sleeping through this banger.

@@magicjoybox i call every music like that

aw yeah, just finished sussing out a bad RAM stick a few days ago. PCMemtest screen looks familiar.
@MasterBootRecord I support you by pre-ordering "Collectors' Dream Vinyl" limited to 200pcs in bloody RED.
Would you add some "limited" crypto-challenge to this piece, it would be great.
Thanks for an excellent music anyway.
There's more ram than 16 MB? And processors newer than 486? Who are you and what have you done to MBR?!
Song starts at [1:56]. (Just kidding, the build-up is fantastic!).
Another amazing song!!!
Another banger from the MBR! Damn this one goes hard and I love it!
As we all know. One can never get enough (of) RAM !!
