SciFi JAPAN TV kicks off 2013 by bringing together two of the biggest figures from the most recent series of Godzilla movies, suit actor Tsutomu Kitagawa and suit maker Shinichi Wakasa, the pair brought Godzilla to life in five feature films from 1999 to 2004.
In this episode, the creative duo discuss how they came to be involved in the legendary franchise, and share some personal stories from behind the scenes.

Very nice, always love hearing the stories from the suit actors & designers adds that much more flavor to the movies. I'm surprised to hear that they still have suit problems even after 22 movies.

a very nice interview.thank you for sharing it.it is always fun to hear these interesting stories about making the films.a special thanks to these 2 gentlemen.I really enjoyed Godzilla 2000 and the other films up to 2004.after the disappointing 1998 Hollywood film I was so happy when Toho announced that they would be making new Godzilla films and when Godzilla 2000 was playing here in the U.S.A. I went to see it 2 times.I was very happy to see very young children and their parents in the audience and when they saw me wearing a Godzilla shirt the children were screaming at how much they liked the film. one kid really went crazy about the fight with Orga he loved the "boxing"!.the parents would say things to me like "this was great.this was like the movies we saw when we were younger".

Do you guys know if the independent godzilla movies legendary Wolfman vs Godzilla will get released on DVD. And when it might come out there was talk at G fest about toho releasing this .
