- Altgang! What's good, in this video we react to NF Clouds! He's back and he's back with a bang. Clouds seems like it's going to be mixtape dropping with a few other tracks (which we'll obviously react to) but I think just seeing NF in this light is so refreshing, it's humorous, it's dope, it's different, hoping the mixtape carries this same energy!

This could be a reach, but also in Outcast he has the line "Big steps in the game yeah the Hulk is running" and then in this one when he's up in the clouds he says "Every time I step my foot... ground just shook" so could be coincidence but Nate is usually intentional with his references and callbacks 🤔

He also says this EXACT line in his song Outcast from 2 albums ago.

Here is my breakdown: I believe the song is called "Clouds" not simply as a reference to his head being in the clouds, but because this is actually a subversion, as if to say "Yes, my head is in the clouds because I'm a meteor about to descend into the earth." This track is a microcosm of that notion, because it crashed onto the scene suddenly, causing the internet to blow up, as if the song "Clouds" came 'from the clouds.' I also think this track could also be Nate's attempt to mock the industry itself, showing people he can play their game too, talk his shit, and play the game better than they can. The ending is a reference to Nate crashing down to earth being "God's chosen one," carving out a lane for himself in the industry, and his "lane" is to go contrary to everyone else's.

I agree and when u say God’s chosen one there was a line earlier in the song saying “idk y God chose me” but it leaves an opening for him to come in later with a claim that he was the chosen one to out the industry for what it really is and make it despite them
The lane thing yeah sorta get ya on that.... Fits well it walks/travels own lane and if its against the normal flow he don't care he knows his lane
He mentions Drugs, Guns, shooting & Rollies in his track! So who said he can't rap about those things lol
That Rollie’s line could also reference the Rolling Stones article about him

This whole video is "tongue-in-cheek" and goes along with the visuals and the lyrics. He leaves a wreck behind him. He is a disruptive force. He says his ideas are astronomical, but he really doesn't take himself that seriously. Although he takes his work very seriously. And I definitely see a reference to Intro 1". He is doing the impossible. Actually I think the reference to "No weight to his name" and "one-trick-pony" is an exact quote from the Rolling Stone article that dissed The Search album.
This whole song is summed up in the last verse and then everything makes sense.
He is explaining that he is different, he is moving up, he will not change, he drives in his own lane, he goes against the flow, you better get out of his way.

Nate says “ you no where my head is” so the title answers the question. His head is in the clouds. Idk what this is a reference to but definitely something to think about before the next song drops
