Parts like these certainly improve the quality of life and the overall airsoft experience. We glad to see starter companies like Clutch Precision filling the gab where others fail while they didn't had to.
I received the part I ordered today. The pin that holds the cocking handle in place is not a spring pin, so I counterbored the support hole a little before inserting it. Thank you very much for the information on this part.
My charging handle’s pin doesn’t quite fit in the hole of their cocking tube. I think the new batches of VFC MP5s are different than what baddabing or Explosive Enterprises has.
Mine won't go fully forward so it won't lock tight and get's loose with minimal movement . It's also not possible to get the pin of the cocking handle through the second hole on top. What could be the problem?
Mr Bing. Ive watched your comparison video. I cannot decide between apache A3 or vfc A5. The whack bolt lock on the vfc is my only apprehension. Theyre almost the exact same price to have imported.
Hi there, Welcome back to the channel. I know what you mean. It’s a tough choice. The bolt stop on the VFC is the thing I hate most about it, and that’s why I kept my WE’s around. That hammer-drop on empty is what the VFC’s need. But remember you have the 45rd mags for the WE. And that’s a great asset to have in the game.
Cheers my man! During games (which nowadays is never) I flick it down with my left thumb while already holding the gun. Or if I'm handling it left handed I smack it across with my right hand above the barrel. Very easy gun to handle with your weak hand. But when not on games I smack it from the top as if it owed me money. Unfortunately my WE doesn't do the bolt stop reliably. It does it most of the time, but not always. I had one mag which was especially unreliable so I glued on a tiny slit of aluminium on the little lever using bison metal epoxy, now it's only as unreliable as the other mags.
I have 8 mags for my MP5A5/K PDW and have intermittent reliability on the dead trigger lock out on them, but then both my guns are second or third hand before I beat the shit out of them too. But I do like the idea of the system more than VFC's "smash into the follower and stop" idea.
@@stewbacca117 Mine was brand new and I'm relatively gentle with my guns (except when I fall on them or something 😅), it did it from the first day. Anyway, I like it better too. I have a KWA Mac11 which has a similar bolt stop as the VFC MP5 and it's kind of worrying, my OEM nozzle didn't do well, especially the loading spike.
@@sogerc1 I too have that KWA MAC. But it barely gets used, I've been trying to field the KWA Vz61 as a sidearm while I test the new SVDS from LCT. Just to get some time behind it.
@@stewbacca117 My Mac also didn't see many games, it's not good enough as a primary and too cumbersome as a secondary, noting beats a good old pistol. But I still play with the Mac, in the backyard and stuff. My loading spike grinded off very fast. My friend who's good at tinkering fashioned me a new loading spike out of brass, in that form the Mac performed the best, but one day the whole nozzle broke in half. I got a Wii alu nozzle, that doesn't break but it's also slightly off-spec, not as cold resistant and the gun requires even more lubrication than before. Just saying so you know what to expect.
@@sogerc1 yeah mine experiences a lot of cool down and dry out as well, seems to need to be swimming in lube to feed effectively, I think open bolt airsoft GBBs have a lot of inherent problems to face as well, with seating of the round in the HOP nub and whatnot before the firing cycle commences being more of an issue
how do you even get the cocking tube out? i push the charging handle down with my thumb, because parts are hard to get in my country, and it doesn't help vfc have a nack for discontinuing the most broken parts.
@04:49 You’ll see that pin, and you can knock it out from under the Handguard upwards. It’s gnarled end is located on the top of the MP5, so be sure to tap it out from underneath.
Is that the first or second gen VFC MP5? Their Gen 2 MP5k that I have has withstood a fair beating and slapping - and you know I'm more of an abuser than Sean Connery on that front. 😂 I got the PDW stock for mine separately
It’s for V1 & V2 MP5’s. I would say that’s true, but Sir Sean has a lot more mileage exercising his … serve, than the pair of us put together 😂👋 Dead jealous! They’re incredibly cool. The K PDW’s I’d argue make better MP5’s than the full sized ones. They’re almost supernatural entities in confined spaces!
@@BadaBingPictures I'm waiting for the SD2 to be released, but might eventually shell out for an A5 to replace my WE which is now sat under my bed languishing with the WE MP5k PDW as well. The HK53 has taken it's spot on the wall and that is built like a tank at least. Ran it again the other night at IPSC 😂🤌
By all accounts, yes. They made it steel in the Kurz variants. Although with such a short throw, they probably could have gotten away with it being alloy tbh.

And the best is yet to come from Clutch Precision. Some very impressive things indeed!
More good times with the VFC MP5.
Take a peek at the magnificent little upgrade here:

I love you too much Badabing 🎉
Thanks for introducing me to a great product!
My VFC MP5 is now the strongest with this upgrade installed.
I will be tougher than ever on my MP5.
Thank you so much badabing!
I can finally stop swaping cooking support tube.....
I have used the backplate for my mp7 and it’s night and day. Awesome. I have pre ordered the bolt, excited to get it.
Since parts for the Crusader are not available, this information on parts was very helpful. I have just ordered this part. thank you.

Thanks mate, u help me alot and finally i can obtain a steel cocking support tube
You are very welcome. Glad I can help you out.
Enjoy!!

Hey bro, me have to the same problem with the charging handle pin, do you have any solutions? Thnx
I guess you could say this upgrade SLAPS!
We need a gen 3 just for removing the weird bolt lock VFC please 🙏
It’ll be almost perfect if they make a V3 with this feature. Until then the HK53 is the next best thing.

Awesome. Is the VFC MP5 still available in the UK, and are there any issues with getting the RIF shipped from internationally?
One question, is swit airsoft a trusted shop to buy airsoft replicas?
I wonder if they'll do one for the VFC/Umarex UMP45
The answer is always no until you ask.
Now, all i need is one for vfc/we g3!

So you lube your tube if the tolerances are nice and tight and you need a bit of persuasion to get it in, is that correct? 🤭

Send them and email and see what they say…

Will this fit the HK53, sir?
Nope.
No need. The one inside the HK53 is already steel 😉

The genuine parts of MP5K are made of steel, so they are more durable than those for MP5.
BBP, if I heared u correctly, the MP5K's and MP5K PDW's are already with steel cocking tube?

@grayman1 I did notice that but last time I asked they quoted over £100 on PnP before customs and stuff unfortunately
