How I found it easier to hook my hoses up is when you shut the engine off wiggle the joy sticks back and forth to take the pressure off the fittings and I think your hoses will connect a lot easier. Give it a try.
I went through Ft Jackson, during, the Cuban Missile crisis. And it was hot then. I remember the salt on our fatigues at the end of the day. They moved half the fort out in one night.
Being in Lexington, SC during the heat wave of last week, I felt REALLY bad for the recruits training at Fort Jackson. The heat was absolutely miserable!
I would just like to say that it was a solid 56°F here in Alaska, with some days getting in the 60s. Weather is about to warm up and get in the HIGH 60s just in time for the salmon run. I used to live in the Southern California desert for 30 years. I'm done with the heat lol. I get nauseated thinking if how hot it is for you all and I sympathize 🥵🥴
Oh my. I did basic at Fort Jackson too. Needed college money and didn’t want my hardworking parents to pay for it. Became an accountant, retired at 45 as a corporate financial analyst and couldn’t be happier.
I love watching your videos, you do such neat work and make things look so professionally done. Be careful of the Wasp and Alligators as well as all Mother Nature Creatures. Keep up the good work.
Those Paper Wasps(Red and Black) build their nests😊 a lot I'm bushes near water..a lot of times you will find their nests in a button bush over water. Stay Safe..
I am so glad you didn't get stung! All if those yellow/black flying stingers can kill me so I understand wanting to give them a very wide berth. Sorry about having to replace the entire a/c system on your U55.
My grandpa was a dozer operator. He always had starting fluid in the cab but not for the obvious reason. This stuff would take down any flying insect instantly.
It would be nice if someone finally invented better hydraulic hose connectors... that has been the same design for decades and decades and it's sad people have to struggle with the same problems.
Great video. Yellow jackets and some hornets are well-known for ground-nesting and they often choose abandoned rodent burrows or other natural cavities in the soil to build their nests. They enlarge these cavities and actually construct paper-like nests inside them, similar to what they do above-ground. What's more, they can be more aggressive than other species if their nest is disturbed. I learned this from the groundsman of the cemetary where my dad was buried because their nest was right next to his grave! Made visiting very challenging as they couldn't really justify disturbing the nest and I accepted that.
I remember the last time you cut this pond Davin! I’m surprised you don’t hit more wasps nest with all the grassy fields that you cut! Try bush hogging on a no cab tractor! No protection at all! If you get stung, take a little bit of cigarette or pipe tobacco, wet it with spit or a little water and slap it on the sting area! Kills the pain pretty quick my friend! Just an old time remedy from the old Cajun people and it works really well! Helps stop the swelling too a little bit!
Nice job davin, beautiful transformation and you got the sound track, back in the description, by the way the soundtrack fits perfectly, play it loud enough maybe it'll calm the wasps
I saw a guy on u-tube that took a couple of grip-it clamps and cut the jaws so they fit on the hidrolic fittings to make it easier to connect attachments to your heavy equipment 😊
Thanks for sharing brother, guess the alligator won’t have any cover when he wants to lay on the bank and catch some rays! 🐊😎😎🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🐊🐊🐝🐝🐝 stay safe brother 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙋🏼✌🏻✌🏻💯💯💯
I ignore the red wasps and mud dobers but the yellow jackets are just mean. I don’t mind spraying them and what’s there wings melt. Stay strong and spray away
Great job glad you didn't get stung.I was stung really bad when I was very young. Needless to say, I hate bees. Mainly wasps and bumble bees. I don't normally mind honey bees. Thanks for the video. See you later.
Afternoon Daven. Looks likwe those hoses gave you a bit of a fight. The wasps were not too happy but glad you had us inside with you and not out in the heat🙂and since when does South carolina get gators?? Know they are in florida, just all over the place, but never heard of one being in South Garolina..
My dad dug up a ground nest one time with the cable front shovel. He thought it was a bumble bee nest (if I remember correctly). And I remember him saying the bees were mad and swarming the bucket of the machine. I wish I was there when he dug up the nest. But I hate bees/wasps and part of me is glad I wasn't there. With my luck, I would have been stung.
Is that your excavator Davin, back from the repair shop? Hopefully they fixed the AC brother! That glass kicks up some heat! Oh WOW, I thought the machine was yours, well they can’t last forever without repairs! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I'd love to b out there doin what you do! I tryin to get a excavator biz goin but it's not goin very well with only makin 500$ since I've been payin for it for 7 months. Great vid!!! Thanks
Information: if you want to call that alligator, start by putting the inside curve between your thumb and index finger and put it to your mouth making a loud sucking sound and that alligator will turn around and come to that sound!! They think it’s baby alligators!! It works real well
Man i wish i had a machine like that!! The wasps have been the worst i have ever seen them! Ive been stung once already, found 3 nests in my garden when i have never had any before! Im freaking out cuz i want to use my garden!

That alligator is probably done. Made him a hole in the bank of that pond for him to hibernate during the winter so he going to live right there. They build their holes when they're little or den
I'd leave the go pro to the hornets. Just go leave it filming in the wrong direction. We'll understand why we don't have the time lapse for a bit. Personally, I prefer the cab view anyways.
