hello. i'm new to tekken and i'm having trouble even getting hits in against my opponent. am i supposed to be trying to only do these types of combos, starting with launchers? thanks
Hi- welcome aboard! It’s a really complicated question to answer in depth- but the TLDR version, you generally launch into a combo if/when your opponent does a move which is very unsafe on block and you ‘punish’ it, or they whiff a move in your face and you launch them before they can block. I have a video on my channel about these Tekken words of you’re not sure what they mean!
Nice guide! You can easily squeeze in a 4 after most of your launchers and before df4 for extra damage. Not too sure about it but I think 4 -> df4 also works from ws2 and does a tiny bit more damage than the 3 2 -> 3 2 route
Yeah, it often comes down to whether it’s a ‘clean’ wall splat- IE they land high enough up the wall. The ‘Death Fist’ ender lands pretty low though 👌🏻

Good video. I always seem to struggle with combos once they hit the wall though. They hit the wall and slide down while my moves whiff.

@@beigemaster So as soon as they hit the wall, just go straight into death fist?
@@coolsea2689 if you’re not sure the wall splat is 100% clean then yeah- I find it to be pretty consistent
