One thing to mention is that when you close the lid it closes the vent. No more forgetting that part. Just got mine today. 3/07/2022.

If I didn't already own three sizes of the older IPs plus numerous other brands of pressure cookers, I'd get one. Now that I'm 80 and not doing so well, I suppose I'll just enjoy watching you use yours.

Thank you for the details usage…. Its the most details out of all the ones I watched for the pro… I like how you went into detail of setting of how to change Temperature in degrees in Sauté and keep warm which is what I wanted to know and didn’t know it had that function. Which is the main reason I bought it thank you!!! 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for the thorough review. I’m moving out of the country and plan to take my IP with me so I was trying to decide if I should upgrade before I go. I ordered this model from Amazon last night. The cheapest I could find it for was $150… so I’d say you got yours at a bargain price.
I’ve watched a ton of reviews and yours was by fair the most thorough and I learned a few things I had not heard before. Great job!
Best option is the possibility to turn off that annoying sound when pressing buttons. Thanks for the review. I’m about to buy one and I think this pro version is the one for me. Was also looking at the air fry version but that is not for me.

I bought this about 2 months and finally hot around to using it tonight. I’m keeping my IP Duo Crisp + Air Fryer lid also. PLUS, I bought a IP Vortex air fryer oven.
The steam release diffuser is a great feature.
I have the duo crisp air fryer, does this one have air fryer too?

It's a great review. I find that the newer models are adding things lots of people won't ever use, or get confused with all the options.
I use a Duo Nova and have a Duo 60 new in box as a backup.

The lid isn't new, my 2020 Duo Evo Plus had the same lid, same inner pot, same display....with the exception of the Fav buttons, and the color. My Duo Evo Plus fell off the counter a few months ago and broke, so a few days ago I got the 8 quart Crisp with the air fryer lid, but I miss my 6 quart, so I ordered this new model tonight for the Cyber Monday price of $80 on Amazon. The Duo Evo Plus was an amazing pressure cooker, so I will be happy to have this one.
Bought this one on Jan 11 and had to send it back because I instantly got a c6l error. So upset I own 3 other I pots and not new to this.
I hope I can find the low pressure and high pressure instructions not sure what you use them for like is high pressure used for like a roast . I'm coming from the old school pressure cooker that didn't have a hi and low pressure . Thanks for this awesome video .

I am very interested in the IP Pro 8qt and would like to know if you know if the Duo Plus (my current model) stainless steel pot will fit into the new Instant Pot Pro given it now has handles and mine doesn't. I also have the stainless steel steamer basket, the silicone (red) trivel as well as the glass & the silicone lids that fit my IP Duo Plus 8qt. It would be a shame if those items don't fit in the IP Pro 8qt. & have to be bought again. I tried to get this info online but so far not! Thanks.
I don't think the Duo Plus pot will fit in the IP Pro. The IP Pro pot has a flat bottom and can be used on your stove; the pot for the Duo Plus cannot.
What feature would one use to air fry in it or is this not a feature on this model?
No air fry function on this one, but maybe the separate air fryer lid would work? Anyone know..
Can you use the inner pots from the other versions in this Instant Pot Pro 10-in-1 Pressure Cooker
I don’t think so. The handles on the pot would be in the way.

The Instapot Pro is amazing....the tone / beeping is horrible. It will surely give you an Instaheadache.....THANKFULLY this can be turned off.

Duo evo plus is discontinued already.
There are some new features... flat bottom pot, Silicone handles on the insert pot, self sealing valve. , and much more. I love my new Pro.
