It looks very nice, but kinda hard to tell from video, cause it adjusts.
Btw, the holes in the plugs are from the olden days when the outlets had kind of a detent for better “gription”. Over time the quality of outlets improved, but they still keep the holes, I guess in case you run into one.
Thanks for the feedback on the video and the info about the holes in the plugs.
I've got one over my lathe, 14' ceiling, great light..great video, keep'um coming..
I really appreciate you sharing your personal experiences with this light. Thanks for taking the time. Evaluating a single sample is nowhere as useful as getting feedback on man different installations and how the lights perform, especially long term.
The debate over what the holes in the plug are fore may never be settled. I was bored one rainy day and looked into it, I found many opinions! By dinner time I had become a proponent of the explanation that way back when they were included as detents to help hold the plug in the socket.
Thanks for the info. I searched for the same thing after I edited this video and that seemed to the be consensus opinion. The answer seems hardly definitive, but definitely plausible.
Perfect timing. I have been wanting to add some more lighting in my shop. Probably order 4 of these bad boys.
Good to know, Tom. Let me know how they work out for you if you do end up getting some. I am also looking to get a few more. I especially need something over the band saw.
Just ordered 2 more.
