What a Beautiful insightful couple! Like the husband, I used to have that problem of forgetting things as well ie leaving the key in the door, the kettle on etc... I highly recommend mindfulness work to get you back in your body and in the present moment. It worked for me. Also, in regards to the wife, a lot of times people can be slow to express their feelings because the don’t fully realize in the moment the feelings they are having. Also a sign you may be a little emotionally disconnected from your body. They might bring it up later on after they’ve been able to process which some times makes things more difficult to address. I hope they look at this and see/understand that they have some issues. They need therapy to work pass the pride, anger, frustration and hurt that I see in both of them. I know they’re newly weds and they have to grow in they’re marriage but it’ll end before it really even gets started if they don’t get help. To be honest, she may leave out of her own hurt and frustration of him being the way it seems he is (prideful). I’m sure she has somethings too that he has to deal with. Also...she knew he was like this before she married him and I feel like these are the red flags we see as women that we ignore. This is just my opinion and I hope they get the help they need and go fourth with a prosperous happy long lasting marriage!!!❤️❤️

That actually can be taken 2 different ways. I have heard people say it that way even when the child belonged to both of them. I don't know their family dynamic so I"m not assuming. I didn't necessarily assume the child wasn't also hers. I've heard it expressed that way many times by women. Haven't you ever heard a woman say to the father of her child: "Your son or your daughter needs you". The son and daughter belong to both of them...but at that moment it was important to make the man understand HIS connection to the child.

They’ve only been married a year. Give them time. As a step-parent, you have to be cautious during the “blending process.” You don’t want to offend the other parent, nor make the kid(s) feel like you’re trying to replace that other parent. I’m 11 yrs in; I adore my 2 bonus babies, and they love me, their “other” mom, right back.🥰
