So a lot of people just opt to replace the old fridge with a newer one. 🤷🏻♂️
I’ve had people that bought fridges that did this right after the 1 year warranty ended.
@@appliancesexplained I was going to say if you're fridge is old after 5years don't waste time & $ replacing it. Sell the whole house and trade it all in for a new one in a new town, since you'll be re-starting with a clean slate might as well get a new girl also! Life is Good :-)
The question isn’t if it’s “well made”. The question is if it will last more than a few years without servicing. I’m sick of these $3000 and up fridges that last only a few years and then you have to spend a lot of money to fix them or buy a new fridge.
@@d05wtt If you can’t go with a built-in, I’d recommend one of these. I’ve also had extremely good luck with the 14 year old Fisher & Paykel I have at home.
@@appliancesexplained Thanks, idk anything about Fisher. I’ll take a look at it.
@@d05wtt It doesn’t have dual compressors or even dual evaporators but that might also be why it’s been so reliable. Another one to consider is the JennAir JFFCF72DKL. It’s a new model number but the unit itself is ancient. In fact, one of my oldest videos is of a KitchenAid version of the same fridge that I made over 10 years ago.

how unusual pushes the more expensive unit while talking about a bosh ..typical..lol
It doesn’t benefit me either way… so I wouldn’t consider it “pushing”. Just stating the facts. 😉
Unfortunately, you made ZERO mention of SERVICE capabilities for this appliance h THAT is a HUGE price point factor to ALWAYS consider along with reliability.
GE's Profile & Café series are a MUCH better option in my opinion.
It has 2 compressors, you’re just doing this off the fly and did zero research. In other words, lying.
@@JMZM7907 Nope. That means “unscripted”. Did you not watch the video?
@ Dual Compressors are actually listed numerous times in the product specifications:
