Yeah the thing to keep in mind, this is the kid who made hashira rank after just 2 months of training. He was roughly 11 when he became a hashira among this generation considered the strongest group of hashira in centuries, he’s 14 now so he has been honing those level of skills for 3 years! It took tanjiro almost 2 years to just get to the entry level demon slayer point!
And on top of that he had the ‘super sayin’ mode of the slayer mark going on. And even with out that he is probably among the top 5 strongest hashira of this group.
Not to down play Uzui, but he is like a top tier human, where muichiro is like to tier prodigy ya know?
gyokko's backstory was mention only in a databook so here it is (this is not a spoiler):
In the past, Managi lived alone on the outskirts of a fisherman village. His parents had passed away from a drowning incident, something that he was fascinated by and found beautiful when he saw their bodies. He was known for collecting fish carcasses, among other strange activities that led him to be disliked by others and kept their distance from him.At one point, a child approached and teased him, causing him to lash out and murder the child by stuffing them in a jar. The child's parents had found out and in a fit of rage, proceeded to stab Managi and left him to die. He was eventually approached by Muzan Kibutsuji and became his minion, turning into the demon Gyokko that later became Upper Rank Five. Since then, he would prey on the flesh of humans, specifically children, and modify his body to his very own liking.

I really like how tanjiro has a flame mark because of his sun breathing and muichiro has cloud like marks because of his mist breathing
Uzui Said that he wasnt even talented and brought up the stone and mist hashira as being talented tokito became a hashira in a couple months And tokito has a mark that made him a lot stronger like how when Tanjiro uses the mark he's way stronger but Uzui never had a mark fighting upper 6

muichiro trash talking and 1vs1-ing a upper moon was so impressive to watch and when i thought it couldnt get better here comes the love hashira... her movements and sword are so sick, almost every hashira could be the main character of the show and i wouldnt mind

First things first, we Japanese write it “無”in Chinese characters, and it means no, nothing, or naught in Japanese.
In this episode Yuichiro said "The 'Mu' in Muichiro stands for 'incompetence' and 'meaningless'" he also said "the 'Mu' in Muichiro stands for 'Infinity'" at last. In Japanese, each of them are
written for"無能-Munou” "無意味-Muimi" and "無限-
Mugen"
Let's change the word to make it easier to understand.
"Incompetence" to "No talent"
"Meaningless" to "No meaning"
"Infinity" to "No limit"
You can see the word "No" in all of them, but it still means negative in first two and positive in another.
It is same in Japanese too.
Same word in opposite meaning.
It's literally playing on words.

To be fair to Uzui, upper 6 was weaker but easier to kill bc you needed to kill them both at the same time. So Uzui had to protect the trio whilst fighting, he lost his left arm and got poisoned at the start of the fight bc tanjiro couldn't dodge and he needed to protect him. Kinda heavy handicap.

Keep in mind on the demon slayer mark that appeared only on Muichiro, out of the hashiras rn. Rengoku and Tengen didn't have one when going up against the other Uppermoons
marked muichiro claps marked tengen anyways and would clap rengoku if ages and available time to train were balanced out so yes mark but also muichiro is better than them both in a generalistic outlook that could include an equal timespan especially tengen who is just the second weakest hashira no matter what ways you spin anything
But they also weren’t holding off and doing pretty well against the Upper Demons with a chipped full sword that wasn’t their either
@@asriel3564 i can see arguments for rengoku as even though akaza wasn't trying he still did in fact almost kill akaza through sun exposure which is impressive but tengen did literally 0 impressive things if we keep him up to the standard of a hashira and compare him to the other hashira so people that defend tengen especially when talking about MUI FKIN CHIRO are weird af

While Muichiro is strong af, Muzan also says that Gyuaturo could've risen up the ranks given how powerful he was. He just didn't because of Daki. So Snake dude is the weakest among the upper moons.

the mu in Muichiro does mean "nothing" but it's used as a negation of something. The "something" is yu in Yuichiro. yugen and mugen have the exact opposite meaning. I think it works with muda too. With yuda being the opposite but I'm not that far in Japanese to be sure about it.
It's similar to Bakugo bullying Deku by saying Deku means "you can't do it" or some crap. He is right. But it has the opposite meaning as well. Dekida (It's done) and dekimasen ( it can't be done) Japanese is fun language to deal with
Gyutaro was upper 6 and fish man is 5, so gyutaro is technically weaker than fish man, though tokito is just that much of a beast that it’s hard to tell

Rengoku's fight is commendable since it's upper rank 3 demon. The upper 1-3 demon's abilities are far more powerful than 4-6.
But yes, Muichiro is lot stronger than Rengoku after having the mark if you are to compare them. Muichiro is like top 3 among the 9 hashiras. If only Rengoku unlocked his mark, he could be more powerful as well.

So MugenTrain stands for the infinity train right? The same goes for the mu in muichro, it stands for"mugen" which means no limits, so roughly translated into i infinity, but no limits would be a more accurate translate Id say
