Mu in Muichiro basically means nonexistent.
無能(mu nou) incompetence
無意味(mu i mi) meaningless
無限(mu gen) no limits,infinity

Mu in Muichiro means no limits,infinity.
2:01 “They’re even like opposites, like yin and yang.” True, even their names reflect that. The “yu” in Yuuichiro 有一郎 means “is/have” and “ichiro” means “first son” while the “mu” in “Muichiro” means “not.” So it’s like their names mean “Is the first son” (since he was first born) and “not the first born” (since he was born second). Yuuichiro really acted like the older brother, taking on more responsibility, being capable of taking care of both of their needs, and making decisions.
I thought you could have watched this episode and the current one together. Episode 9 is amazing. It will certainly answer your question as to if Yuichiro comes back as a secret Solar Flare breathing Hashira with a prosthetic silver arm.
One of the girls says that Yuichiro already passed away. So he never comes back.

I did wipe away some tears - I was so moved when Muichiro touched Yuichiro's hand in their last moments together. So heartbreaking 💔. Plus, Demon Slayer is always so captivating!
