Dude, Honda and Yamaha engines are true masterpieces. We have a first generation Activa and the engine is smoother than my pulsar and ntorq at 70kph. Yes it still does those speeds even after 15plus years. The engine is built to last. Definitely Honda is asking for more price cus they have worked on what matters the most. Sadly most people don't think this way...
Bang on review Bulu bhai.. I own a GS310 and recently did Hyd to Ladhak and I realized it's underpowered.. after coming back i took a test ride of 500X and I echo each and every point that you mentioned in the review.. this is a very practical bike which easily matches the comfort of a GS.. unfortunately I was not able to book it as there are no stocks.. waiting for the new version and I am definitely buying this one.

I got this bike on a steal deal from top line honda for 6.4 lacs. Trust me guys this bike has got gem of an engine and I really love every moment riding this bike.
The bike not excel on road, not excel off road. Where it excel is the bad roads, traction is amazing. Strong low end torque and the bike will never stall. Bulu Bhai if you are going for 500x, don't take this model. Go for the updated one with upgraded suspension and twin disc brakes. 15 years back when I was riding the Karizma, i was surprised by the smooth cruising experience on speeds like 80+ kmph and i never felt the speed on it. I didn't get that feel on any bike after that, i had a 2018 Africa twin and i was not happy with its cruising abilities, i always felt the need of a 7 th gear in highways and 6th felt very Torquey but not smooth and refined. But I got that cruise feel on a 125 cc scooter - Suzuki burgman which I can cruise at 75 kmph on eco mode. May be I will get my fav cruise feel on the big GS, waiting for detailed test drive.
I can totally understand what your saying. I test rode this from Lavelle road to Electronic city twice. Only bike which made me go back to it again and again after interceptor 650. Only engine which can match the smoothness of this engine at lower prices and light weight then it will be RE 650 engines. Aur aap clutch ke baare mein baat karna hi bhool gaye. This has got to be lightest clutch i have ever used. It is almost like non existent clutch....

Bought hness cb350 in may 2023. Am learning big bikes. When crusing on highway its avg is 100kmph. Will look for next bike after 2 years mostly Honda again.😊

Sadly, Honda got all the unsold international units to India with an exorbitant pricing, while they were launching the updated model with USD Showa BP SFF, Dual front disc brakes and adjustable windscreen. At the launch price of this (on road Bangalore), one can buy 2 KTM ADV 390, of course it won’t ever match the finesse of the Honda, but it’s high time Honda should stop treating India as a scooter only market and fix their prices. After all their major share of global revenue comes from India itself.

What's your take on 500f I am a senior rider who was riding liter bikes and then went downward to 650 and then CB 350 and due to very low top end cruising speed want a CB 500 light and hopefully keep riding at 120+

RE nterceptor is a good bike bro but this is an adventure tourer n any day a better bike. Himalayn 650 will be an excellent entry but not sure if RE will launch it or not

Hi brother go with the 390adv its a good Motorcycle as Honda is not available now, and don't really know when it will come again, since I have other Motorcycles so I can wait. Plus since for u it is the first bike then I would not like you to spend so much money. So my suggestion to you will be the Ktm. But I hope your height is more than 5.7 or so as Ktm is slightly tall seat height.
@@BuluBiker bhai I am 5.9 and have tested the bike couple of times. Found it on aggressive side as compared to the meteor which I drive currently. Hope I will be able to manage the power as the time and experience progress.
@@bhalinders i have the adv 390 . its a duke with better ergos. if you are ok with the vibrations then go for the adv 390. i am 5.6 and have learned how to ride a big bike.
about electronics, I really agree on simplicity! I am waiting for the RE new himalayan 450! and thinking about RE reliability, that too it will be their first electronics heavy bike, I am in doubt now🙂

As far as i know from speaking to Bigwing People, Honda won't make big bikes in India. It will all be CKD units. Reason being, these big bikes don't sell much. So the cost of setting production here just for few bikes is not practical for Honda.
@@aps250487 naah! 6 lakhs is still overcharging imo. Around 5 is a good buy considering 390 comes way cheaper. And its not like ktm is a broken bike from the factory while the honda stays pristine for generations. Many switchgear troubles, niggles and problems with the bikes are present on present expensive hondas too..
@@aps250487 i dont think so. Honda engine is staid. All that talk about honda "smoothness" but its not like its vibe free completely. After 120kmph buzz starts creeping. Ktm is very cheaply built but its not breaking everytime it eyes ladakh or spiti. Many ktm advs have multiple spiti rides under their belt without any problems. The price isn't justified for the product. Only people make up their minds for what they want and spend what they want. The 390 is not a bad bike. The honda isn't a great buy.
I love Honda's engine man it's like butter smooth and I'm a person who loves that peaceful ride more than power it's about how comfortable it is

U try with vstrom 250...I already covered 17k kms n enjoy each time I take out my bike..it goes smoothly n linearly 90 to 105...

I would suggest XPulse 200T because of its upright sitting posture. I can suggest to visit asura garage for any fitment and modifications.

I think cb500x will not come before 2023 last, and till that time himalyan 450 will also arrived and then we should think between these two bikes
cb500x is already available in the indian market. it has being years in indian market. in 2022 they reduced the price of this bike by 1lakh

As far as i know from speaking to Bigwing People, Honda won't make big bikes in India. It will all be CKD units. Reason being, these big bikes don't sell much. So the cost of setting production here just for few bikes is not practical for Honda.

7 lakh mein not worth it for anybody other than honda seekers. 5 lakhs on road pe will be the defacto upgrade for every body riding long distances

@@aps250487 naah! 6 lakhs is still overcharging imo. Around 5 is a good buy considering 390 comes way cheaper. And its not like ktm is a broken bike from the factory while the honda stays pristine for generations. Many switchgear troubles, niggles and problems with the bikes are present on present expensive hondas too..

@@aps250487 i dont think so. Honda engine is staid. All that talk about honda "smoothness" but its not like its vibe free completely. After 120kmph buzz starts creeping. Ktm is very cheaply built but its not breaking everytime it eyes ladakh or spiti. Many ktm advs have multiple spiti rides under their belt without any problems. The price isn't justified for the product. Only people make up their minds for what they want and spend what they want. The 390 is not a bad bike. The honda isn't a great buy.
